Evenstar, you know I watch Smallville
But I think it's been dragging lately. I think you can guess what'll happen most of them and Lana will NOT die! *twitch* She's like a roach.

Yeah I know, I can't wait till next season. Except I'm starting to get a bit scared..because I mean..Smallville can only go on for so long. What will they do with the show when Clark gets out of college? I mean, they would be going too much into the old Superman movies. Which means, they might stop the show sooner or later. Which I'm going to hate..

I love Smallville! But I think Clarke should just give up on Lona, because its pretty pathetic how he's always obsessing over her. But, I haven't watched the newes episodes, the older ones were better.

There are a couple of filler episodes which annoyed me. I think they need to end the series soon. But I really do hope that Chloe and Clark end on a good note with each other.

*revives thread from the very, VERY end of the Movies & TV section (seriously, it was at the absolute bottom)*
I've recently gotten a bit hooked on the show (Even will cheer ), and I watched the season premiere tonight. I thought it was a bit weird, going into old Superman material, but...kind of cool anyway. But I'm very "out" of what's been going on in older episodes since I've just started watching it. Anyway, did anyone else watch it?

Okay...how did I miss this thread?
I'm a big fan which surprises me as I'm neither a DC fan, but I'm not a huge Superman fan either. Liked the first 2 movies, but not a comic reader.
I'm anxiously awaiting the new season to start here in the UK. It took me a while to get used to it as I'd been so used to Christopher Reeve as Clark/Superman. The one thing I think Smallville got spot on, was Lex Luthor. The Lex of the movies was nothing more than a comedic distraction. Lex in the comic was a manipulative super-genius, and I think the casting of Michael Rosenbaum was inspired. He was entirely believable as the young Lex.
Couple of odd trivia facts you may or may not know about Smallville.
The woman that plays Martha Kent (Annette O'Toole) was Lana Lang in Superman III.
John Schneider who plays Jonathan Kent, was Bo Duke in the original Dukes of Hazzard tv series.
Alfred Gough and Miles Millar also wrote the screenplay for Spider-Man 2

Ok, if it was the second one you did miss a key ending. If I can recall, it started with Lex in Belle Reeve sanitarium where his father was being kept after he went cuckoo. He was having all the patients in that hallway moved so no one would know about his father's condition. As he leaves he bumps into a patient as they're moving him out and his handcuffs mysteriously fall off. The guy turns out to be a meteor freak and draws electricity from stuff. The guy manages to break out two twins with the ability to create a force field when they hold hands. Together they break out of Belle Reeve and head for Smallville. Back in Smallville, everyone's helping out rebuilding a neighbor's farm that was destroyed in the meteor shower. Clark and Lana slip away to Clark's barn and start getting on but they stop and both confess they're both virgins. They hear a noise and think Clark's parents pulled in, but it turns out to be the trio that escaped Belle Reeve. They trap a powerless Clark and Lana in the house. Later Clark's parents come in and get trapped too. The trio explains how they were lab rats for experiments at Luthorcorp, where they would inject them with kryptonite serum to boost their powers but now they're addicted. They want Clark to use the powers they've heard about in Belle Reeve to break into Luthorcorp and get them more serum. Clark agrees to do it to save his family. He meets with Chloe and devise a plan to break into the building and get the serum; when they get there, Chloe reveals an arsenal of everything you need to break into a building or blow something up, you name it, she's got it. After a sequence of rather unbelievable feats, they break into the vault and find they can't get to the serum, so while Chloe tries to trace the signal, Clark lies and notifies the trio they are on their way. Back home, the twins are holding a force field to keep the police out but they're getting weaker so the leader says he'll kill Martha unless Clark gets back soon. Clark comes in with a briefcase and hands it to the guy. Turns out its a flash grenade that stuns the guy, and when he tries to zap Clark with his power, he knocks down the twins instead bringing down the field. Clark then hits the fusebok with a sledgehammer to cut off the electricity and nullify the guy's power. So the police comes in and takes the trio away. Chloe later tells Clark that she traced the signal back from the vault and someone was watching them the whole time. Who could it be? Clark barges into Lex's office in anger knocking him down and telling him how he could've gotten his loved ones killed just to see if he had special powers. Lex gets angry and punches Clark back and notices he bleeds, Clark leaves apparently ending their friendship. Later Clark and Lana talk alone in the barn about how life deals unknown events at any time, and how they never know what's gonna happen. They embrace, start kissing, some more frisky stuff, scene fades and you can assume, (if you've seen the later episodes you'll know) they consummate their relationship).
Not a bad episode, the ending's obviously the only thing you might want to know about later. But did anyone else like the last episode as much as me? I thought it was awesome to bring in Aquaman. I loved last season when they brought in Flash. Just good to know some DC characters exist in this version. So far this season's been a blast, so let's hope it gets better. I for one think that there's still a few more things to develop before they end the show.

I really liked the episode when Clark died..(No I wasn't happy about him dying lol) but..it was just so realistic. Lana couldn't even breath she was crying so hard. And the end was just..perfect. And yeah, the Aquaman episode was good. Haha, I love Lois. She's so hilarious.."Why don't you use it to get some fashion sense." Or whatever she said, I sort of forgot. And I'm really liking how Chloe knows Clark's secret and he knows she knows so now he can talk to her about everything. And, YAY ARWEN! *RUNS AND TACKLE HUGS* Smallville ish good for you
