I LOVE The Spider-Man Trilogy. The Movies are amazing. The sequels are better then the first one but I love it all the same. I'm not sure if I like the 2nd or 3rd one better. They are both flawless. Alot of people think there were too many plots and villians in Spidey 3, but I think it worked perfectly. And the messages in it about Forgiveness and such are great. The games are awesome too. Like the first movie, the first game isn't as good. I actually haven't played Spider-Man 3, but I love Spider-Man 2, the webswinging is addicting. |

Long time Spidey fan here. I even remember the old 70's tv show starring Nicholas Hammond (I don't recommend it lolol) I love the movies, despite the changes (Should have been Gwen first...then MJ). Too hard to pick a favourite, they all have there good and bad points. I completely adored the 90's cartoon, so much so I bought unofficial dvd's off Ebay just so I could have them. Never played any of the games, though they do look like a lot of fun. |

I've seen Spidey 2 the most out of them too. I still love it though, Dock Ock was just amazing. Probably my favorite villian in all 3 movies. Though I do like Venom and New Goblin alot too. And I agree about the plots Call, I love them too. That cartoon was great Phoenix, and you really should try the games. In Spider-Man 2 it feels like your actually swinging. It rocks. |

In the games you get to meet alot more villians...Shocker, Rhino, Vulture, Mysterio, ect. Plus the movie villians. And Black Cat is in the 2nd one... I have a few Spider-Man comics, I have some cards too. My uncle collects Comics/Cards. He has alot of old ones. He gave me some for my Birthday one year. They are awesome. The cartoons are cool...A new one came out in March I think. The spectaular Spider-Man. Haven't seen it though. Yeah, you gotta feel bad for Sandman. Dock Ock is awesome. Venom and New Goblin rock too. Green Goblin is cool. |

Spider-Man is the guy that started my love for superheroes and comic books,(I'm not actually sure if that's good or bad ![]() ![]() ![]() But, having read some of both the original comics from the 60's and the more recent ones, I have to say that they did a pretty good job of telling Spidey's story. Not perfect, of course, but what book-to-movie project is? And I like some things in the movies better than in the comics anyway, like the fact that Gwen didn't have to die. Edit: Ooh, Balathor, The Spectacular Spider-Man is fun! Especially if you're enough of a geek to know all the original villains, so you scream their names in delight when they appear onscreen. ![]() ![]() |

I'm thinking about trying to collect the Amazing Spider-Man comics. Not sure though. It would be fun to do. I like some of the differences in the movies too. I like Gwen alot in the movie, Bryce Dallas Howard did an awesome job. I'll have to look up Spectacular Spider-Man and record it. You've got me interested now. ![]() |

Don't ask me...I'm getting all my comics from the library, or a friend of mine who's also obsessed with them. I think they're printing the originals in paperback editions though...you might try looking for those. 'Course, for the REAL originals, you'd have to go to Ebay or something... She did! She actually made me like her, despite the upside-down kiss, which infuriated me. ![]() ![]() Yes, do! It's fun for the people who want to watch a slightly different version of Ol' Webhead. ![]() |

Yeah, I don't know which of the comics I'd want. Of course I'd like to have the originals, but you never know. It was Peter's fault for the upside down kiss, not Gwen's. He was asking for trouble when he did that. But your right, I'm sure Gwen wouldn't have done it if she knew about MJ. I'll look up Spectacular Spider-Man tomarrow. ![]() |

Your best bet if you want the comics, spefically the older ones is the Graphic Novels. They come in at a reasonable price on places like Amazon and Ebay, much cheaper than buying say 6 comics brand new from a comic shop. The problem I had with Spider-Man comics and what contributed to me not getting them anymore, was you had about 5 different titles all with different storylines. X-Men had a similar problem, but you can at least attest that to having more than one character. Also..the recent Spider-Man storyline One More Day has the majority of die hard fans foaming at the mouth because it's just so absurd. Gotta check out the new cartoon (and the new X-Men one), it looks and sounds very good. Sounds very much like the original comic. |

^Eww, I'm not even touching any of One More Day. I read all I need to know online. ![]() ![]() And if you can deal with the fact that some details are a little different than the comics (IE Max Dillon was a lab assistant for Dr. Conners when he became Electro and not working for an electrical company, and Gwen and Harry are Peter's best friends in high school) it's otherwise pretty close. ![]() |

OMD is so horrible that even the writer J. Michael Straczynski asked Marvel Editor, Joe Quesada to take his name off the project. I cannot understand what they were thinking. My only hope is that Dr Strange figures something's not right or Mephisto renages on the deal somehow. Just bring it back to normal, let Aunt May die. I've been trying to find the new cartoon online, but to no avail. |

There's retcons...and then there's stupidity. One More Day is not one of the better retcons in Marvel history. |

^Pardon my ignorance, but what's a retcon? ![]() Unfortunately, I think Spectacular is still too new to find anywhere online, except maybe on YouTube if someone is willing to record it and post it. Sadly, I don't know how to to that. ![]() |
