it's very well written, despite the fact that it promotes polygamy. i can't wait to get more backstory on some of the characters, like joey and wanda. SOMEhow, i ended up missing the last 3 episodes of the 2nd season. 3rd season is under production! |

Apart from the fact that I'm pretty sure we don't get the channel it comes on (HBO?), the plot/etc kind of scares me. Of course, all the multiple wives stories vaguely freak me out. Then again, living in Texas where the polygamy scandal stuff is happening doesn't help. |

I'm actually fascinated by this show. My parents and I are slightly addicted. I actually can't see how it promotes polygamy, to be honest - I sure don't watch it and go "Gee, I'd like to be a polygamist." The tension is something I'd never want to live with. But yeah, it's extremely well written. However, here in behind-the-times Canada, the first season finale was about a month ago, and the second season will be starting up probably come October. So I should probably make myself scarce for fear of spoilers, heh. |
