Ok, I saw this tonight. Now, I love ABBA songs (and updates of them...A*Teens, anyone?), so I was in seventh heaven watching this... I would've been singing along if I was by myself. As it was, I was humming along.

LOL my mom told me that she thinks this might be the kind of movie that morphs into a giant sing-along (think Rocky Horror- people in a theatre singing and dancing along with the cast). I was like, I would SO go to something like that, and have the time of my life doing it as well.

Has anyone else seen this, and/or like it?

Lol. I haven't seen it yet, but I've been dying to ever since I saw the trailer for it. I didn't even know half the songs, but was already singing along by the end of the trailer. I can't wait to see it!

I saw it and I LOVED it! I had the biggest smile on my face throughout the whole movie. Like you, had I been by myself I would have sang along out loud to every single song.

LOVED my man Stellan in the film. He was so funny. I also loved the cameo appearances by Björn and Benny from the real ABBA.

And a Mamma Mia sing-along sounds awesome. I've been wanting to go to the Sound of Music sing-alongs for years but just haven't had the time or money to go.

My grandparents gave me the soundtrack for the London musical ages ago, and a few years ago I saw the off-Broadway show when it came through my city. Plus I like ABBA :teehee: So, I really would like to see the movie, just haven't gotten a chance yet. So exciting with Colin and Pierce in there! Bond and Darcy :p Meryl Streep is amazing, too...

Bah, now I really want to see it

Yeah, I think it was quite good. However, I found the many girlish screams in the beginning highly annoying :) There's a little too much of something pink-like, if you get me... But hey, ABBA! I loooove them. And Colin Firth singing Our Last Summer was great. He's not the greatest of singers, but a favourite actor doing some favourite music is great!

And ... Oh my God and ... Last sequel after some of the titles. The costumes! And I think it's so hilarious that the three most manly men ever.....:
James Bond
Mr. Darcy
(When has Stellan Skarsgård not been manly?)

... were selected for this. Hahahahaahahah!!!!! They're brilliant!

I saw it with my mother, who is an absolutely ABBA-fan and she was so drooling over the songs that I thougth they should be horrible. But the contrary turned out; I liked the songs so much, that I started to download them as soon as I came home and now I am singing 'Honey honey' all the time (A)
