Topic title says it all. What are your favorite movie scenes? Please post videos if you got them! Otherwise just describe it so we want to watch it! I just watched the final scene from Flashdance - I love dance movies!!

^I don't know how I haven't seen Dirty Dancing, but I haven't. *makes a note*
This isn't a dancing movie, but the Mask of Zorro has one of the hottest flamenco dances I've ever seen! Elena and Alejandro just make the dance burst into flames.

Yay, great videos. I love the dancing scenes. Especially, the tango from Take the Lead, I haven't seen the movie though. Phoenix:: Ahh I love The Fifth Element but I had forgotten all about the movie!! Do you know what she's singing about? Does it relate to the scene? Aramel:: What's Zoolander about? Take the Lead is a great dance movie! It's taking the hip hop community of kids that think they are amazing dancers and transforming them into more sophisticated dancers with the waltz and tangos and ballroom styles, but while keeping their own sexy style. It's really good Derek Zoolander is VH1's three time male model of the year, but when Hansel wins the award instead, Zoolander's world becomes upside down. His friends disappear, his father is disappointed in him, and he feels that he's not good as a model anymore. But when evil fashion guru Mugato hires Zoolander, he thinks his life has turned back round again, that is until he finds out that Mugato has actually brainwashed him to kill the Prime Minister of Malaysia. Can Zoolander and his new friends find out how to prevent the incident before it's too late? |

One of my favorite scenes has to be the "Too Late" scene from Tess of the D'Urbervilles. For those who don't know about this story, Tess has been violated by one man, and then abandoned by the man she loves because she has been violated (he thinks this makes her impure). In this scene, the man she loves comes back to her years after he abandons her, only to find that she is now living with the man who raped her. Honestly I have no idea. The song/s called Lucia di Lammermoore/The Diva Dance and that's all I know about it. |

This is my favorite scene in the movie "Exit" (I'm sorry I couldn't find the clip with subtitles  ) But it's really great because even if you don't speak the language, just by watching you get a VERY clear picture of what's going on.

I think it's because the way Anna (Kristi Torhaug) comes onto the boat and storms up to Thomas (Mads Mikkelsen), she's so furious! You half expect her to take a swing at him, then he talks her down and by the end he's holding her. |

LOTR: Lighting of the Beacons LOTR: When we first see the Argonaths Bedknobs and Broomsticks: When the flags start moving and the drums begin to beat Jurassic Park: When we first see the dinosaurs Sweeney Todd: The end scene Ratatouille: When Remy first sees Paris from his roof ^ These are sort of moments that had a big impact on me and made me "gasp* at the sheer wonder and beauty of it all. They aren't just "fluffy" favourite scenes... I have waay too many of them to list.

darn, why does my mind always blank when it comes to these things? I can be sitting there, watching a movie and thinking "that is an EPIC scene" but then I forget it when things like this come up... only to remember it later on. ugh. whatever. Here's a few scenes that came to my mind when I saw this thread: Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End - the maelstrom part. (which is actually really more than one scene, isn't it?) honestly, that always gives me goosebumps. Elizabeth's speech is one of the best ever. Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King - when Rohan charges to Gondor's aid during the battle. You know that scene, right? Spider-man 3 - the whole last bit of it... like right before Harry dies and right after. those are probably my faves... though I'm sure I'll think of more sometime...
