Wasn't this originally a book? I'm pretty sure I read it and if there's a movie, I'd love to see it.
Johnny Depp as the mad hatter is an excellent choice, I'm sure he'll bring his genius into this character.

Hey guys, it's been a while since I have been here I've missed my buddies and I certainly hope that this forum is still going because this is just one of my all time favorite forums. Anyways, a lot of movies have been coming out lately and they have all been great lately and ofcourse soon it has been confirmed that Tim Burton is working on the wonderland story. The movie is due out 2010 or 2012 I'm thrilled I simply cannot wait to see this, I hope there are other people who are just as thrilled as I am to see this film, and Johnny Depp as the mad hattter? They couldn't have gotten anyone better for that character. So, discussion please... What are your thoughts on the live action updated through the looking glass movie if you've seen the pictures? |

Maybe this thread should have been titled "Alice in Wonderland" or "Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland" since that is the official name for the movie (and not "Through the Looking Glass") even though it's a spin-off/sequel. Just saying. Anywho, I'm SO excited about this film. It's going to be all sorts of epic win. I love Tim Burton and I love Johnny Depp and I especially love them together! |

I am a HUGE Lewis Carroll fan (atic, actually). I thrive on anything and everything pertaining to this great man's works and the whole idea of Tim Burton (my favorite director of all time) turning them into a movie (and especially with Johnny Depp!) is something I absolutely CANNOT miss! I have a feeling it's going to be a VERY long wait though 
I also heard that Christopher Lee was going to be in it too. He's always awesome
