I know I know it's still something like 6 months away but...I'm EXCITED!
Especially after seeing the first official trailer.

OMG. I just saw the trailer today as well and was like "O___O" throughout the whole thing. And then when it was done...I replayed it twice. And it would be unnatural if I didn't want to see it seeing as it is RDJ. O___O

Again, thank you so much for showing this to me, Raivynn. :hug: I had no idea the trailer was coming out so soon!

Naturally, I had a heart attack when I saw the trailer. Whiplash is about 1000000% better than the previous villain, and I love that the trailer doesn't show the entire movie like too many trailers do. Oh, and the court room scene in the beginning completely brought back my love for the beautiful Tony Stark. :-D

Whiplash looks sick. I'm so pleased for Mickey, he seems to be having a RDJ-esque resurgance. His accent made me squee a little too, so if ScarJo doesn't have hers, then he can pick up the slack for sure.

...and did I mention how UTTERLY AWESOME War Machine is????!!

Whiplash looks amazing. And the scene where he jumps out of the plane after his helmet and he yells back to Pepper is so adorable!


I've already booked the day off so I can see it in theaters when it comes out.

Raivynn, you're so cute. :-D I was talking with my cousins about this movie and we're all really excited! Then my cousin and I went on this whole Wolverine rant...but that's besides the point. :-P

I had no idea the trailer was out. Oh man, I'm so excited. I have a theory that any actor that plays a superhero is simply trying to be what RDJ was to Iron Man. Which is impossible, but RDJ IS Tony Stark.

This may be really obvious, but you know what I realized? That the actor that plays War Machine in this movie is different from the guy who was set up to play it in the last movie. In the last movie, it was definitely Terence Howard. I think in this one it's Don Cheadle. Someone pointed that out to me, and I realized that I hadn't even noticed.

LOL yes it is a new actor. There was an alleged dispute over pay or something and they canned him and brought in a better actor :P

Well having just seen Iron Man for the first time today (I know, I'm late). I am really looking forward to the sequel.

I have no idea who any of the new characters are or anything, as I don't know much about Iron Man, but as long as it's like the last one, it's going to be great.

Russian accents FTW! And where is Tony's buddy Rhodes? I really liked him in Iron Man. :-(

I know a lot of people don't like Paltrow, but I'm glad she is back as I think Pepper and Tony are awesome together. :D

^The previous Rhodey actor [Terrence Howard] will be replaced with Don Cheadle, like Raivynn said because of a pay dispute. And if you'll notice in Iron Man near the end, Rhodes looks at a suit in Tony's "office" and say's "next time baby". This alludes to him turning into War Machine, which will happen in the 2nd one.

And I forget which scene it's in, but Captain America's shield is sitting on Tony's work station, which alludes to the Avengers movie that will be coming out. But that has nothing really to do with Iron Man 2. But yeah.

I'm still super excited, but also really nervous, most people had no expectations about the first movie, and critics will be super harsh with this one because the first one did so well. Unless Jon Favreau really messes it up, I'll probably end up loving it.
