I watched that movie to calm my nerves after my last exam this past semester. ^_^ David Bowie was hilarious. And it took me a little while to realize that that was Jennifer Connely (from Blood Diamond). I laughed my head off for the whole film, though. :D

Labyrinth is one of my favorite old movies! David Bowie is epic as Jared the Goblin King! I absolutely love the movie and have often sung the songs when I am bored xD

Lol, yeah. I was quite surprised when I realized that. ^_^ I actually saw Labyrinth before Blood Diamond, but I didn't make the connection for a while.

I loved the movie, though. David Bowie was hilarious.

It's a weird movie. Did you see David Bowie's pants? Those should be illegal.

I remember watching it about four years ago, at three in the morning, it wasn't very funny. Maybe not my type of movie?

- You remind me of the babe
- What babe?
- The babe with the power
- What power?
- The power of voodoo.
- Who do?
- You do!
- Do what?
- Remind me of the babe!

Haha I LOVE Labyrinth. Such an awesome quirky film. Great songs, fantastic sets and costumes. So pure '80s.

EPIC film.

The first time I ever saw it though, I was on a plethora of cold medicine and it was about 3 am -- talk about a TRIP!

I love this movie though! David Bowie in TIGHT PANTS. NOM. :P

Taken I believe from the 1940s Cary Grant film The Bachelor and the Bobbysoxer.

I saw this many years ago, and I didn't like it very much. One of those films I was probably forced to see and knew I wouldn't like it. Not my kind of film either.

Or maybe it was because because it was 3 in the morning. :P I honestly feel it's one of those movies best watched with your best friend at a sleepover at about 21:00. Just before you become too giggly and busy with all sorts of sleepovery nonsense to pay any real attention to a movie but when you're already in a silly enough to think babies climbing upside down stairs accompanied by cheesy angsty songs are amazingly funny. :teehee:

This is EXACTLY how me and my best friend Kellie watched this movie! :D I kid you not! It was hysterical! Whenever we need cheering up we just pop this one it...

Get this:

WE DID A PARODY OF IT AT A SLEEPOVER! *AHEM!*

:) It was very... special. Oh, goodness. The movie is one that i love to hate... I love parts and its good for a laugh and some corny music, but i hate that Jareth doesn't wear pants... FOR CRYING OUT LOUD Hoggle is at the same level as his... :confused2: :duh:  ... (well you know) in that one scene! And that is entirely too awkward for enjoyment for me. But this movie: brings back great memories of my early teenage years... ^^ gosh.

The Labyrinth, Willow, and the Dark Crystal make up my childhood! I own all three and watch them whenever I am feeling extra giddy!

My favorite scene is when Jareth and Jennifer Connely are dancing in that magical trippy scene!
