I'm not quite sure where this would belong, but I figured more people would see it here. Debbie Reynolds has collected dozens of costumes from classic movies, and tried to put them into a museum of some sort. Sadly, she was unsuccessful. The costumes are now going to be auctioned off. I highly doubt any of us have the money to buy them, but we can look at the pictures! ![]() http://enchantedserenityperiodfilms.blo ... -sold.html |

I haven't had the time to look through them all (would love the How the West Was Won dresses, obsessed with that film) but can I just say with all the money floating around in the film industry and with the likes of Scorsese and Spielberg who supposedly value older films and such stuff, it is TRAGIC that these pieces are going to be sold to most likely private collections never to be seen by the public. I would LOVE to see those in a museum or something. VICTORIA ALBERT MUSEUM BLOODY BUY THEM!! |

oh wow, I see at least ten of those dresses I would want to wear! I do love the one from My Fair Lady... that's been a favorite for a while. ![]() |
