I'm amazed no one has made a topic for this. This is another brilliant piece of work from the noble mind of Christopher Nolan and it is absolutely wonderful. I don't think I'm exaggerating here. This is truly one of the best films I've ever seen in a long time. It's been said Nolan has thought of this for a long time and it really shows because everyone puts their best in this movie. And the visual effects are amazing. It just proves to every two-bit director who insist on making their movies in 3D that 3D isn't a miracle worker. You actually need something of substance and oh boy, Inception is just filled with substance. In fact, I'll go as far as to say yes, Inception had much better visual effects than Avatar.

100% agree.
Inception was spectacular. I can't wait to see it again and recollect the pieces of mind that were blown away by the spectacular and mind-bending plot line.

Oh man... this movie was not only awesome with awesome visual effects... but intense as well. I was on the edge of my seat almost the whole movie! I haven't seen such an awesome, intense, and clean movie like that in awhile. (I mean Prince of Persia and the Lighting Theif were good, but nowhere near as intense!) And in my opinion this is Leo's best movie yet, but thats just my opinion.

I just recently saw this movie myself and I loved it!! The stoyline and the whole concept of the movie instantly sucked me in. I even left the theater thinking about how it's true that you always irst start out in the middle of your dreams. Quite strange... The effects we also really something. One of the best films I've seen in a while.
Random question: Is it just me or does it seem like Leo hardly ever ages?

I'm bringing this thread from the dead just because Inception is one of the best movies I've seen in a LONG time, truly lived up to the hype and therefor expectations I had of it, and more. The concept was brilliant, it was vissually stunning, and the story had me on edge.

I can agree that Inception was a really great movie. But, for me, it has become incredibly overhyped. Like, people will not stop talking about it. I watched it once in the cinema, once at home, and I bought it because I thought it was good and I'd like to see it again to try and figure out stuff that still confuses me. But I haven't been able to make myself watch it again because I see so much stuff about it everywhere, most prominently on tumblr. Which isn't the movie's fault, of course. It's still brilliant. I just wish sometimes if movies were good that people would just let them be good instead of talking so much about them that people feel like they've watched them a billion times even if they haven't. If that makes sense...

It was good. But some people (like my ex) took this WAY too seriously to the point where he actually thought that this was real and that he could actually bring lucid dreaming to this point where he could control it to that extent and have dreams within dreams within dreams, and build entire new worlds within his dream. Annoyed the sh*t out of me.
