Here is a place to let others know what your favorite classic Disney movies are!!!!!
Personally, I like Lion King the best. It has been one of my favorite movies for a very very long time. Also, I think Aladdin is the best "princess" movie.

Oh gosh...lets see, my absolute favorites.... Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, Lady and the Tramp, The Great Mouse Detective, The Lion King, Lilo and Stitch, Pocahontas, and Winnie the Pooh. Gosh, its so hard to pick favorites! But those would probably be the ones that I watch the most.

As a child my favorites were always Alice in Wonderland and The Little Mermaid.

Not exactly classics, but I also have much love for Atlantis: the Lost Empire, Treasure Planet, and Tarzan.

D: Get thee to the movie store at once!! The Little Mermaid is a must.

I have seen the Johnny Depp version of Alice, and I found it to be acceptable. They're horribly different stories, though, the 1951 Disney and the 2010 Tim Burton. Both are good, but I find them hardly comparable.

Well I can happily tell you that I found Depp's performance to be the best thing about that movie, how's that then? :D

I like Pirates, too, but mostly Curse of the Black Pearl. The subsequent movies were fun, but they just lacked the spark of the first one to me. The last one I saw in theaters as a cheer-me-up after experiencing a cheating boyfriend and the only good thing to me was the mermaid and the priest. But perhaps I had just lost interest in the series by then, I can't really be certain.

My all time favourite is The Jungle Book.

My other favourites are The Lion King, The Fox and the Hound, The Aristocats and 101 Dalmatians.

There's a certain theme to them. :teehee:

My favourite non-animal Disney films are Pocahontas and Tangled. (Yes, I know Tangled is only a year old but it is technically one of their "Classics" (whereas films like Toy Story and Cars whilst they are Disney films they aren't "classics" :p ))

Oh and I hate Beauty and the Beast. I can't stand it :p

Oh, snap! I just finished organising my Disney DVD collection when I found this! LOL.

Well, my favourites would have to be Hunchback of Notre Dame, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast.

I like Hunchback of Notre Dame, because it's pretty dark and they don't cop out at the end, and pair Quasy off with anyone. Until the sequel... that was crap!

Beauty and the Beast was good, because it had everything. Dark spells, a message that looks aren't everything, and Belle shouting back in Beast's face is pretty badass by Classic Disney standards.

The Little Mermaid, because that one was the first ever video that I ever got. The story, it just seemed to stay with me. Like, she could be exactly who she wanted to be.

As far as Pirates goes, I like the first one and the fourth one. The third one was okay, but whoever wrote that was far, far too mean to poor Will. He is just trying to finally marry Elizabeth!
Tangled is a wonderful movie, and, I guess, it is like the classics. (Cars, Cars 2, and the Toy Story movies are really good though!!!)

I got a feelin the Pirates movies, years from now, will be looked on as Disney classics, they are just so much fun for the whole family, which is exactly what a Disney classic should be. Plus Captain Jack is just totally awesome! No matter how many times I watch those movies, he still makes me laugh.
