I've become hooked on this show since coming to the U.S. It's magnificent! I usually catch up on it while waiting for Downton Abbey to air. I'm all for literature and the arts [I'm going for an English degree for goodness sake!], but even someone in the liberal arts can appreciate the science-y humour! The finale of season 5 was one of my favourite episodes so far.  Anyone else love |

I love this show! I just started watching it last season, so I missed the first few seasons of it, but I watch the reruns. The last rerun I watched was probably from the first or second season, and Lenard went to a Halloween party dressed as Frodo! It was hilarious! And Sheldon is so annoying its funny! I actually just saw a poster at the store today that had a big picture of Sheldon on it, and it said 'Bazinga!'

I like the show but I think I'm the only person in the world that finds Sheldon incredibly annoying. |

he's SUPPOSED to be annoying, if I had him as neighboor or friend of a friend I'd probably strangle him  but watching him he's just endeering haha is a brilliant show, I've always loved it since day one, I love Penny, she's so patient with all the nerds, mostly Sheldon, because like I said, if it was me, I'd strangle him

Sheldon is actually like an exaggerated form of my brother, so I find him hilarious. I enjoy the show, though not nearly as much as my parents. They love it. |

I really like the show and I love all the references to Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and other nerdy things. But I like Penny the most, because she's staying with her weird nerdy neighbours and even tries to understand their interests

There's so many times that I think "Ohmygosh thats so me!" when I watch it And I love the 'Firefly' references they have too!

I started watching random episodes from TBBT when I was getting ready for my final in an Astronomy course I was taking. (I actually memorized the theme song and quoted it in one of our essays!  ) I should get started for real, though... should I start from the beginning, or is there a particularly good season that I definitely must watch?

I recommend you start with the first season. That way you really get to know the characters bit by bit That worked best for me, also because it's very easy to keep track of what you've seen so far.
