Is there really no thread for this? :erm: C'mon, guys. :P (we must be missing JF's Pixar-love... :P)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c3bwLIVdc4I&feature=fvst

Is anyone else seriously looking forward to this? I mean, yeah... it kinda looks like a weird story (actually, though, they haven't given away much of it, have they? Kinda pulling a WALL-E on us, me thinketh... except it doesn't look as cute as WALL-E. ;))... but, it's Pixar. How can they mess up? :teehee:

I'm hoping to see it opening weekend. My dad wants to see it in 3D, but... I dunno... it just seems kinda weird. 3D movies and all... :P

Awww, TT, you guys are lucky to get to see it. I probably won't be able to until it comes out on DVD. But enough of the pity party! lol Of course I want to see it! It looks like a lot of fun. (the dog in the commercials always makes me giggle. So dog-like :P) Disney/Pixar always makes really sweet movies.

Oh, I hope you get to see it, Saira. :)

The adds reveal nothing, really... there was some other add on tv the other day... and, honestly, I'm still lost as to what this movie will be about... but it should be sweet. :P

I was thinking of posting a thread like this, but I just never got around to it.

My mom and I are definitely going to be seeing it in 3D on opening weekend. She's been asking me for the past three weeks if it has come out yet. So both of us are really excited... it looks like the first cute movie Pixar has come out with in the longest time.

And that bird thing! I think he's my favorite character.

Nah, TT, I probably won’t til it’s on DVD ‘cause, unlike all you lucky peoples, I don’t have any family members that really like going to the movies. (and if I did talk someone into going with me Star Trek would probably still be my first choice  ) My friend might want to go with me though... I dunno. You haven’t? The dogs are epic looking! I’ve caught some more sneak peak things for this movie on Disney Channel and the dog parts look like they'll be my fave parts! :P

Haha, Ara! The bird thing!

Oks, so I did end up seeing it today. :D It was awesome. So sweet, and cute... and just really original. Touching at parts too and... I dunno. I adored it, frankly. ... don't wanna give anything away, but, yeah... it was awesome. :D

Ara, I hope you see it. :) The first cute Pixar movie in the longest while? Well, we disagree. ;)

PD, I knows it. :erm: That's really too bad... Haha, I wanna see Sar Trek too. :P I hope you do see it, though. Really. Haha, the dogs were epic... there were a lot of dogs and dog parts. ;)

Ugh, due to a change of plans, we'll be seeing it Sunday... not that that's a long time to wait, but I really want to see UP! :P

TT, I was never a fan of Wall-E or any of those other animal movies they made... UP looks really amazing though and seems like an interesting story, with lots of fantasy and whatnot. I dunno, something I can't place a finger on just seems to make this movie stand out.

Maybe because its the first people-based movie after the incredibles... Its been a while since the movie was about people. And although I love all Pixar, The Incredibles is definitely my favourite ;)

Hm, I didn't like the Incredibles either... I have no clue why I'm not a big fan of Pixar. :P Toy Story and Monsters Inc. were about it for me. Everything was was, IMO, garbage. But that doesn't mean you guys can't like it. I just don't think it's as good as the old Disney stuff. IDK.

Disney and Pixar are just super different: they try to bring out something different in their audiences. And your opinion is just as valid as everyone else's

So... My UP plans have been postponed -weeps- For almost a month! -sigh-

TT, I heard that the ending is sad though… I have an idea I sorta know what happens. Oh well, it still looks adorable! Honestly, since my mom liked going to see Star Trek with me she might take me to see UP too. so we’ll see… and I think I could invite my friend to see it if my mom doesn't want to… so hopefully. Yeah. :D

Anyway, Star Trek was epic! Seriously, TT, if you were coming over a little later or earlier I’d want to take you to see it/watch it on DVD with you! I am gonna buy it. Maybe when it comes out on DVD we’ll have to watch it together over IM. :D Dogs are always epic! :teehee:

Really? Ara? I loved both Wall-E and Bolt. Like, Bolt (besides annoying Miley :eyeroll:) was awesome! UP looks equally cute... but, I dunno, I adore Disney/Pixar movies. :teehee:

Did ya see it, Ara? :D
Hmmm... I know. ;) I really, really disagree... I think Pixar's movies (especially WALL-E, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo...) have all be epic and adorable. But yes. I know where you stand. ;)

Saira, Awww. :(

PD, DO you? :teehee: What do you think happens? :P It is adorable. Really? That would be amazing. I hope you do see it. :D

Haha, really? I'm sorry I'm not, then. :P Was it seriously that good? ;) Nah, maybe we shall. When it comes out on dvd.

... uhm, why are we talking about Bolt?

TT, well, my mom’s heard that it has a bittersweet ending. I think she said that some people have compared it to… umm, The Notebook (which, btw, I loved though it was sad). So I think the old guy in it dies? After he goes on his grand adventure. but I could be wrong. :P

I am too! *pouts* for sure it was that good! (not PotC, LotR or LOST but you know ;)) Sheesh, I would venture to say “best movie of the year”. *le nod* (not that this year is shaping up to be an outstanding movie year thus far, IMO) I hope so. There were so many fun things in it… easter egg-like things for fans and such. And of course it’s heavily influenced by our good LOST. ;)

Oops, darnit, scratch that. ;) Bolt wasn’t a Pixar movie. :duh: I keep thinking that every movie animated that way must have a Pixar influence… it was the same with Meet The Robinsons. :P

I actually saw this last week [just forgot to post here :duh:] and I have to be honest.

It was freakin' epic! Probably one of the best movies I've seen in a long time - good, well thought out characters, and lots of humor... Fantastic, in my opinion. And Kevin [the bird] is still my favorite!

I don't want to give too much away, but PD, you're wrong about him dying - the end is actually kinda happy although I was crying through a lot of it... if you see it, I cried at the part with the scrapbook, but that's all I'm gonna say. ;-)
