Has anyone else seen this show? It comes on the Discovery channel. My parents became obsessed with it and now they have gotten me slightly interested in it. I worry that the man is going to get himself killed and he does confuss me something terrible when he starts talking about ways to tell which direction (east, west, south, north) you are hearding in but I must admit that the show is very entertaining. I like learning new things and I learn new things whenever I watch this show though...so I kind of like it.. So has ynone else seen this show?

I've seen it once or twice. It's actually really neat, though I'm always trying to spot some kind of sign he's faking it. I'm sure there's a point where the camera crew would help him out if he was in dire need of it, so I doubt he'll get himself killed. I'm not planning on being stuck alone in the wilderness anytime soon, but you never know! And if I do, I'm sure I will be very happy I paid some attention to it.

I don't have cable, but I saw a few episodes of it when I was staying in a hotel. It looks pretty cool- I wish I could see more! lol I agree that the camera crew probably has food and stuff to keep him from actually dying. I like seeing all the different ways he has to survive.

my brother is obsessed with that show. according to him, bear grills is the epitome of manliness... or something like that. i think my brother just secretly wants to get paid for showing people how to get a drink from elephant dung. i mean, seriously.

it's not bad, i like it to the extent that i'll watch it if it's on...

My cousin and I were watching that show! Thre was a marathon on Sunday. We must have repeat the phase "He's such a beast" about 100 times!

And yes Tar, he's not bad looking at all!

It's entertaining. I admit, I'm sort of hooked. The only time I haven't watched it recently was on Friday... I was watching Dr. Who instead and, no, he's not bad looking... he's no Edward Cullen though

I was sitting down with some friends, and we started discussing the show... My friend started gushing about Bear. It was sort of disgusting. I mean, sure he's cute, but he eats grubs. and snakes. and... well, who really wants to know what else? It's sort of disgusting.

I know. The other day I was watching and he ate a turtle! Then a frog... he literally bit its head off! He's attractive, but I don't think I would kiss him.

Well, if I was starving in the wilderness, I'd probably eat that too! lol. I've eaten a chocolate frosting, sardine, Whopper candy, and vienna sausage sandwich. Raw frogs might be a tad better! lol.

Still, I wouldn't want to kiss him right after he's eaten that stuff. lol
