Anyone crazy enough to love this as much as I do? -grin- I watch this in the morning before I go to school, and it always cheers me up...however terrible I feel. Do you have a favourite game or episode? |

Lol, that has to be one of the funniest shows on earth, even if it is quite cruel! My favvie game has to be the one where they jump over the rollers, looks very painful >.< |

-laughs- My favourite is "Knock Knock", where they run at the doors, and they're either paper, or boarded up. It makes me laugh so much. -grin- I'm evil, huh? |

OMG, I can't believe there was a topic for this show!!  I LOVED Takeshi's Castle when it was on. I think in the UK we got the trimmed versions though, which was a shame. My favourite game is actually.. oh gosh... what's it called... it's been so long since I saw it... it's the obstacle course one, where there are boulders being rolled onto them, and aliens jumping out at them...argh, that is annoying! |

Takeshi's Castle is amazing. The UK version is edited I believe. Still, it's out and out hilarity and Craig Charles' sarcastic commentary makes me chuckle. I don't think I have a favourite game, there all equally brilliant. Beat Takeshi himself is a genius. His movies are dark, twisted and often disturbing. |

I believe it is quite heavily edited. They are hour shows in Japan I think. There are comedy rountines in between the games, which is why sometimes we see clips of people dressed up and things like that, but we aren't seeing them in full. I really, want to know what the repeated phrase that the contestants say, means. It sounds like san-marry-ma. |

Neither do I.  On the Kehsi heads site, they list all the epsiodes, including one hour specials... I never saw those. Skipping stones is excellent.... knee smashing, rib cracking, jaw breaking, teeth whacking injury laden fun.

The phrase (I think) is Ganbarimasu, which means: "I will do my best!" (Sounds like: "Gan-bari-mass") Random trivia, go! |
