A 1930s screwball comedy called "Easy Living." I loved it. When the working-class heroine discovers she accidentally made $18,000 she starts crying and says "You know what I'm going to do? I'm going to buy a dog!!" That's my kind of people.

Florence Foster Jenkins.
It was really, really good. I enjoyed it and both Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant were amazing.

Toy Story 3. I've seen that movie two and half times now, and I cried at the end every single time. :'(

^ Awwww!! I could see how that would be upsetting, though. People aren't supposed to die in kids movies like that. The dirty little secret is they don't make those movies just for kids anymore. :teehee:

Speaking of How To Train Your Dragon 2, Cate Blanchett was wonderful in that. I loved her character.

Yeah.... it was cute but sad. He cheered right up, though, when Hickup beat the bad guy so it was all good. lol

Haha, and yes... they certainly do quite well about marketing the "kids" movies to the adults as well! (Heck... I LOVE those movies!)

She did, her character was very well done and her voice fit perfectly. *nods in agreement*

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children.
I had zero expectations going in, as I had never read the book and had not seen the trailer beforehand, but I enjoyed this movie. One of Tim Burton's finest :)

I most recently watched a clifford movie with my kids. I really need to watch something fun once in a while. I've been itching to watch a good movie.

The Island (2005) - again (this time on Blu-ray). I felt bad for Lima One Alpha (the pregnant clone), since all she wanted was a better life for her and her child on the Island. Darn Merrick and his darker intentions (which was played by the one and only Sean Bean, which is the first time I've seen him play a bad guy). I ordered it on eBay on Sunday (but not before checking my local Walmart store first) and received it yesterday, which means the shipping was as fast as when I pre-order a movie from my local bookstore kiosk (which no longer has movies or music, probably because their prices were the highest, since you could find the same title cheaper on eBay, Amazon, Walmart, or Best Buy). :)

And speaking of getting all misty-eyed, I tear up when I hear the main theme playing once all the clones are free to explore the world (more happy tears than sad ones, unlike when certain characters get killed in BoFA).

Captain America: The Winter Soldier ... I enjoyed the film even though Captain America isn't one of my favourite characters.
