Toy Story: Parts 1, 2, and 3

How can you have 100 channels, and still not be able to find anything decent to watch?

Easy. When the first two advertising-financed TV channels started to pollute the airwaves in the mid-1980s, they being allowed to do so being very much forced by Germany’s recently deceased Dunald-prequel former chancellor whose name translates as cabbage (which except for a mysterious one-year period around 1989-1990 is a fair description of his IQ – except that cabbages are not to present research known to be malicious), these two (by now far more) advertising-financed TV channels very quickly dove to the bottom of the cesspit. Thankfully, the publicly financed TV companies (perhaps vaguely like BBC) have since that time created (on occasion in alliance with French, Austrian and Swiss public companies) specialty channels catering to a higher IQ level. In our self-sorted, remote-controlled TV guide the first of the garbage channels is placed at position 20 of 48. In between we also have some English-language news channels (CNN, BBC, …) and several 24/7 advertising ones. Even two (or rather three) nominally documentary channels (one each belonging to each of the cesspit divers mentioned above). But, as I have noticed since being retired, their stock programs is rather limited.

3:10 From Yuma - not a bad remake, but then I like Russell Crowe's acting.

Frozen (on television). Even though I'm not that into it anymore, I still love that song (Let It Go). I'm more like Anna than Elsa (I need heat, not frigid temperatures), but one thing that I would not do is propose to someone I only knew for a day (what was Anna thinking?!) :duh:
