I can't remember if a thread for these books has already been posted, but Mods, if you know of one, feel free to point me in the right direction and lock this
Anyway. I just finished these three books - The Hidden Kingdom, Close Kin, and In the Coils of the Snake, all by Clare Dunkle. I thought they were really good, and the third one in particular I stayed up very late reading. Has anyone else read them? I quite liked her portrayal of Elves especially, and my favorite characters were Kate, Nir and Seylin. It's gotten increasingly hard to find good, original fantasy to read lately, and these were like a breath of fresh air.

Cool! I've never heard of them... I'll have to go and see if my library has them! They sound awsome!
EDIT: I looked them up, and it says they're the 'Hollow Kingdom' trilogy...

I think I read the first one *checks Amazon* yeah, I did. It wasn't bad...vaguely interesting, but the ending was highly disappointing because the goblin/human pairing didn't work for me...maybe I'm just biased when it comes to inter-species shipping though
