Thought I'd make up a thread to discuss the work of Gregory Maguire, author of Wicked. I've enjoyed his books, I've read Confessions of an ugly step-sister, mirror, mirror, Wicked and Son of a Witch. I love how we takes fairy tales and transforms them into something totally totally different!

I agree, but I love how they are set in the past in European countries. Who is your favorite character? I like Bianca in MirrorMirror, Elphaba in Wicked, and Iris, Clara, Caspar, and the Master in Confessions of an Ugly step-sister.
