"Mina Drömmars Stad" (City Of My Dreams) by Per Anders Fogelström. The first book in his series about life in Stockholm between 1860-1960 that follows the same family, generation after generation. The first book covers the period from 1860-1880.

I can't believe I haven't read them before. It's one of those things every Stockholmer should read so it's been long overdue.

Follower! :P

Also, I'm reading The Lost Continent - Travels In Small Town America by Bill Bryson... it's going rather slowly. I loved his Down Under which I read while I was.. very appropriately - Down Under but this one isn't flowing as nicely..

Mustang: The Saga Of The Wild Horse In The American West by Deanne Stillman. really good so far, it tells the history of the spectacular horses and how they played a role in American history, and how now their existence is being threatened by Land Management rounding them up and euthanizing them, gunmen shooting them down, and their homeland being taken for development and 'progress', and groups of people that are fighting for the mustangs safety and freedom.
