Cara wrote: Wars of the Emerged World tome I by Licia Troisi wow! I was thinking about asking for opinions of this book in this forum, since a friend recommended it to me. Fantasy literature written...by an astrophysicist!! Sounds awesome, mainly because I study physics! So when you are done, please tell me what do you think about it!

I can tell you right now, because it's not the first time I am reading it. The series is simply great, characters are believable, writing styles is really easy to follow and the story itself is one of my favourites from every book I have read. I recommend it

how cool! I'm not such a great fan about fantasy other than Tolkien, but that is in another topic, I guess. I will read it, yes, hopefully in italian, since I'm learning it!
Myself, don't have time to read literature, but I have read a few pages of "Sobre Héroes y Tumbas", from Ernesto Sábato. "About Heroes and Graves". Sábato was a physicist who later dedicated himself to literature!

I'm reading The Wheel of Time series, but I'm between books right now and I'm reading Unholy Night by Seth Grahame-Smith.
