Some of the required reading for my English course is Tolkien!! I'm starting his modern translations of some Old and Middle English tales, including Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, The Pearl, and Sir Orfeo.

Tolkien was great.  I've now started on Leviathan, by Hobbes. It's quite long-winded and rather boring to read compared to Machiavelli... *yawn*
