Here is the link that I sent to Montana, so that the rest of you can puzzle over this informal poll: http://www.bridgetothestars.net/index.p ... vie&p=pollLol, I liked looking over the results for that poll. The one thing that made me laugh the most, and that's saying that Nicole Kidman should play Mrs. Coulter. Everytime I read the books, I imagine her for some reason.
*is laughing very hard at the moment* please excuse me *dies of laughter in a corner, revives herself and comes back* ok, that is a funny list. Having Orlando Bloom as the voice of Pan would be neat, and Viggo as Lee? oh my gosh who came up with this? John as Iorek wouldnt be too bad, and Liv is too delicate to play Serefina...

Yes, some of them I didn't think quite matched up either... lol. Although I guess a few did. I can imagine some of them, but some of them are just so off of how I imagined each of them.

Ooo, what a fab idea! I love those books, just read them again.
My fave book definitely Northen Lights although the Amber Spyglass was awsome also and the Subtle Knife was so cool.
My fave character was Iorek and probably Mary, Iorek becasuse he was so strong and protective, Mary because she's most like me - totally obsessed with nature.
My dæmon would probaly be a Leopard because they are quite solitary and not brilliant runners over long distances. If I could choose I'd call him Nassor.
So, yea, I loved the books and they're so moving, especially at the end of The Amber Spyglass.

OMG i just finished it yesterday! I cried, and cried, and I was just like hysterical for the rest of the day. They should make a movie out of them!!!
EDIT: i just noticed that they are making a movie out of them. YAY! do you know that every time that i decide to read a book, the movie comes out? Like with LotR, and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy... it's scary.
