it's about a West Saxon girl, daughter of King Alfred (or Edward or something like that... or maybe that was her brother) who ends up being the Lady of M... whatever that place is called. I actually have that book, as I read it a few years ago and thought it absolutely amazing. Aethelflad remained as my rolemodel for a year after I read it. |

Ah, I have read that one! It is really good! I love historical fiction, especially in that time period. |
