These have been made into t.v. movies in England. The main character Richard Sharpe in the movies is played by the fabulous Sean Bean, as most of us already know. But I was just courious if anyone had actually read the books that Bernard Cornwell wrote?

I just started on Sharpe's Rifles yesterday. I'm on page 26. Everytime Richard speaks I hear Sean's voice. :P

I love the programs, and I definitely intend to read the books! I did rent some out from the library a few months ago and began reading Sharpe's tiger and it was very good. But alas, I am a slow reader and I had to take them all back because the fine on them was mounting :(
