For anyone who loves the King Arthur legends (or just the medieval period), I recommend "Queen of Camelot" by Nancy McKenzie. The story revolves around Guinevere, who tells her story of when she was born all the way up until the death of King Arthur. It's fictional, of course, but McKenzie is such a great writer that she makes you believe that it's factual! It's excellently written and I can't tell you how much inspiration I have gotten from her book!!! The sequel, "The Grail Prince" is the tale of Lancelot's son, Galahad. Althouth this book is also very good, in my opinion "Queen of Camelot" shines brighter.
Has anyone else ever read these books? It'd be interesting to find someone else who has!!

I read "Queen of Camelot" earlier this year! It's a wonderful book, (though it's quite long), and brilliantly written. Glad to see I'm not the only one who has read it! :bye:

Yay! Someone else who's read it!! It's my favorite book! :) My roommate gave it to me two years ago because it's also her favorite. This year marks the third time I've read it. It's a tradition for me that I read it once every year...and I hope to continue that for a long time. Some people think that's so odd...but I just love it so much! I notice something new with the characters or plot every time. McKenzie really makes you relate to her characters even though the story takes place during a whole different age...and you are able to sympathize with her characters too.

Oh wow. Im totally gonna have to check that book out. I like Guinevere and right now I've really gotten into all the history about Kig Arthur. Im reading a 3-part trilogy right now that revolves around a boy named Arthur and he has a Seeing Stone which he looks into everyday and see's the story of like an older version of himself, which is King Arthur.
