Does anyone here read any manga? If so, what's your favorite series?

I have a slightly small collection of manga. I've been collecting for over a year now, but I haven't accumulated much and as of late, I haven't had any money to buy any more volumes so....I really don't have a favorite manga but I think the one that I love most in the overall series and plot is Neon Genesis Evangelion by Viz.

My manga collection consists of....

[x] Alice 19th - Vol. 1
[x] Candidate for Goddess (Megami Kouhosei) - Vol. 1, 3-5
[x] DNAngel - Vol. 1-7
[x] Fruits Basket - Vol. 1-4
[x] Hikaru no Go - Vol. 1-3
[x] Kare Kano - Vol. 1
[x] Neon Genesis Evangelion Vol. 1-8
[x] Onegai Teacher - Vol. 1-2 [Whole]
[x] Rurouni Kenshin Vol. 1-15
[x] (Gensoumaden) Saiyuki - Vol. 1-9
[x] Sailor Moon - Vol. 5, 11
[x] X/1999 - Vol. 1-2
--------------------------------
Equals to 59 volumes.

Wow, that's a lot! I have a ton of manga myself, but I can't keep track of it all. These are the ones I remember:

Sailor Moon (All of them, but they're scattered all over the place)

Tsubasa 2-7

Chrno Crusade 1-6

Fruit's Basket 1 and 6

Inuyasha 1-6, 9-13

Ranma 1/2 1-2

Yu-gi-oh 1-4 (cool manga, incredibly stupid anime)

Naruto 1

Fushigi Yuugi 1

Shaman King 1

Tokyo Mew Mew 1

Rurouni Kenshin 6-8 (borrowed previous volumes from a friend)

Full Metal Alchemist 1-2

And those are all the ones I can think of at the moment. My favorite manga vareys between Tsubasa and Chrno Crusade. :laughbounce:

[turns green with envy]

All of the Sailor Moon...

FullMetal Alchemist. Ack! I'm so jealous!

Hey Rum? How many volumes of NGE do you have? I have all of them so far, and it's been ages and I don't know vol. 9 will be released in the U.S.

OMG, I found a site where you can read FMA manga! Even ones that haven't hit the bookshelves in America! It's just translated by fans! :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I found a site where you can read some manga that was not released in the US, and there is one about curry. ( hahahaha. )

I'm going to go off topic and talk about curry.
Curry rocks. Gackt makes curry. Therefore, it will be served in Heaven.

Gackt. <3

[giggles at Rumil]

Silly Rumil.

But Curry does rock.

And Gackt takes 3 days to make Curry.

Gackt tells his friend 3 days in advance that he's making Curry.

So therefore, mathmatically, Gackt DOES rock.

End of story.

daughterofkings: I agree! Fushigi Yuugi is good! Though I haven't read the manga unfortunately, I've only seen a few episodes of the anime.

^ Nope. The title made my head spin.
Clamp has very long titles. X_X
Here are some AMAZING titles from Tokyopop, check them out they are so awesome.

* Bizenghast

* Princess Ai ( which translates to Princess Love AHHH I CAN SPEAK JAPANESE!!! x_x)

* Doll

* GTO. Ohmygosh I love GTO. See the bottom of page for more.

* Pet shop of horrors.

Ok. About my GTO obsession. This has to do with anime, not manga. Sorry. I always go offtopic, but this must be addressed.
I am a major Bittorent addict, so I downloaded GreatTeacherOnizuka the Live Action and it's awesome. I highly suggest downloading it. It's mad awesome. Plus, if you like Live Actions, download MARS and Hana Yori Dango. * done * Wait..GACKUTO RULES!!!!! * done *

Clamp doesn't have long titles! Atleast, I don't think. Some title that could be considered long would probably be Tsubasa Chronicles or Card Captors Sakura. I don't think many are long. Like Chobits or XXholic [that's Clamp right??]

I was SO tempted to download GTO Live Action but I haven't seen the anime nor have I read the manga! Don't worry, I'm a bittorrent addict too. I've seen up to episode 17-18 of the MARS Live Action! It's great! Zai Zai is soooo adorable! But Gackt pwns. I've never heard of Hana Yori Dango, though :(.

Recently I downloaded the Sailor Moon Live Action. I adore it. I'm sorry but I am just a little girl at heart. For one thing, the opening theme is mad addictive and just watching of how cheesy it is is just fun! The plot follows the manga through the Dark Kingdom story arc and Jadeite, Nephrite, Zoisite, and Kunzite are...so...awesome. AWESOME, I say!!!!

A good Sailor Moon Live Action Site - shingetsu .:. your definitive pgsm source .:. a live action pretty guardian sailor moon page
