I do. Ugh. I have to read Ethan Frome. Normally, with a book that size, I'd be through it in less than a day. The bad thing? I can't get into it. And I have a book report on it due the first day of school.
Suddenly, I'm really not looking foward to Honors Lit.

I think I started that oncne but got distracted and read Unfinished Tales. I should start it again... -meanders off to go read-

I have to read Edith Hamilton's Mythology and write a report on three of the myths, totalling 6 papers.

Ugh. Don't get me started on summer reading. It's not like the books are bad, but the list is impossibly long.
Dante
Aristotle
Swift
Eliot
Yeats
Wordsworth
Shakespeare
Tennyson
Milton
Machiavelli
Steinbeck
Twain
All great authors, don't get me wrong, but this is summer.
AND I've got, like, six essays due before school even starts. It's ridiculous.

Heh. I'd rather have /that/ summer reading list, no matter how long.

I haven't read that Five Loaves book, but P&P and Screwtape Letters are both excellent books. Two of my favorites.
Anna Telcontar, which Steinbeck book do you have to read? I'm currently reading East of Eden (but by choice, not as homework).
This summer I had to read Brave New World by Huxley and Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison. They weren't my favorite books, but not terrible either, and thank god I have all my summer homework over with.
