Hurray for Limewire! I get most of my music from there. but I actually prefer to have the albums. I have most of Atreyu's songs, but I still want to get their two albums (The Curse and Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses) and another album I want to get... I think owning the CD gives you a better feeling though, rather than getting it from the internet. But I'm lazy so I use Limewire .

I mostly buy music from iTunes. That way I can pick and choose my songs so that I don't have to pay for the songs I don't like on a CD.

Used to buy CDs, nowadays I dl all the time.
You can´t find decent music round here.

It depends....when I find a new band, either recommended by friend or just stumbled onto one, I download one piece of the band as a trial from Limewire. If I like it, I'll find their CD in the library and copy it onto my computer. If not, I just download a couple more songs of the band and call it a day. If it is a band or album the library doesn't have, I just buy the album. But two of my favorites albums, You Could Have It So Much Better - Franz Ferdinand and Eyes Open - Snow Patrol, was given by my friends. Well at least the former, who happens to be my teacher's younger son. My art teacher copied Eyes Open for me and gave that to me. Coincentally, both teachers are my favorite teachers.

I was cured all right.

Most of my music came from CDs from the bookstore. A lot of it came from iTunes music shop, and a small percentage was illegally downloaded. I stopped though, and now I'm majority legal!

I don't have many CDs. I either listen to music videos or listen to the radio. I used to have subscription music but that didn't work out.

I either buy CDs (when my wallet and bank account allows me to) or download from the Internet. I like having an actual CD though so I only download to see if it's any good and just to have in the meantime until I get the CD. I also rip all the songs on my CDs that I like to put on my computer as well as my mp3 player.

Only 22 of my 2,000 songs were downloaded off limewire. These songs are out of print/impossible to find on cd and/or unavailible on iTunes. Everything else is either from my parent's huge cd collection, from friends, or off iTunes. The things is, I have trouble claiming that I'm a fan of someone when all I've done is steal their hard work. Plus, a lot of the time the quality of the music off limewire is horrible.

Most of my music is from CDs I purchased before there really was internet downloading. I also have some music off of iTunes and one or two songs that I illegally downloaded. Even if Limewire isn't illegal, I still feel that it's wrong, so I refuse to use it. I also heard it makes your computer crash sometimes, so I don't want that!
