Since Boromir just mentioned Lindsey Stirling in the "What you just watched" thread....

I fiddled around with a harp one time... Those things are insanely hard! I give props to anyone who can play one well.
For my choice today something less complicated than a harp.

Discovered this young lady playing live locally a couple weeks back. She has quite the voice and stage presence! Found out she was in the top five running of Triple J's Unearthed High competition. Didn't win as the field was packed with indie female vocalists this year, but I think she was a bit better than the winning artist. So I went searching for her on YouTube... she has one vid that JJJ helped produce. Tia Gostelow ~ State of Art

Virtual Choir! That was lovely! Put that on my youtube background music playlist!
I just listened to Renaissance ~ Whitticombe Fair Live. I love this video of a live show where the line-up was only recently settled after some key members left the original band (Keith and Jane Relf, and Dave McCarty). This line-up recorded most of an album and toured hard for a couple months before it too fell apart, but that few months Renaissance really did put it out there, and they genuinely appeared to enjoy playing this tune!

I really wanted to find an actual music video for this but this was the only version of the song I could find on Youtube that I cared for.

I've probably posted this one before, but I really love the way the video creator merged the LotR movie scenes to Deep Purple's song Soldier of Fortune. I wipe the whole LotR movie and story out of my head and go with the great imagery that Viggo and ...yes, even Liv, did as it is edited to this song. It tells a whole different story. Love the song, and love the visual editing of the movie done to the song. Hope you enjoy....
