Grr. I had a whole long lovely reply typed out and that stupid error message came up and I lost the whole thing. I'll try to duplicate it as closely as possible.
YAY! The insanity has ended. Muse has been recognized as the best band ever and Matt as the sexiest male. All is as it should be.
You're going to be an awfully tall microphone. Matt will have to stand on a platform just to sing into you. Fortunately, I'm short and am therefore much more convincing as a microphone.
Grr. I want the shirt. *pouts* maybe I'll spend what little remaining money I'll have left on a Muse shirt. OR.... I could make one. I still have an iron on thingy left. Hmm....
It's not really a problem, and I think that might be considered child abuse. Besides, the less people who like Matt Bellamy, the less people I have to fight over him.
In other news, those pictures you posted in the Hot Musicians thread thing were AMAZING. I especially loved all the last ones of just Matt. I copied and pasted them all into my Matt Bellamy file immediately. Yes, I have a Matt Bellamy file. It's actually my MATT BELLAMY file. It's definitely the coolest and sexiest file I have.
*gasps* Starlight just came on. *dies*
I tried to get my friend to listen to Muse, but she still hasn't done it. And she unforgivably called them "The Muse" yesterday. Honestly. You'd think that my pages of description of their awesomeness would at least make hera little curious. And this actually is a problem because she's probably one of the only people I'll be able to get to come to the concert with me. Maybe I'll try duct taping her to a chiar and making her watch Starlight for 24 hours.........

I finally decided to listen to them and the first songs that came up on YouTube were Starlight and Knights of Cydonia...
Hey!! I know Starlight, I've heard it on the radio.. just didn't know it was Muse... it's good... me likes!
And Knights of Cydonia.... awesomely cool video, love it!!!
Watching Bliss now.. cool! :

Yay! I told you you would love them. Starlight is the awesomest song ever, hence my name. The video for Knights of Cydonia of pretty awesome, as are most of their videos. Bliss has the spiky red haired black leather pants Matt, which is always good.
You're lucky. They never play Muse on the radio here.

Ea: Yes! Welcome to our scarily obsessive cult! Radioblogclub is probably a better place to look for them as they have many more (and more obscure) songs.
Starlight:
I the error thing isn't fixed I'm going to go crazy.
Yep. Now we just need to elect Matt president of the universe.
It would be hilarious though. And I could bend over.
Do that. I'm going to do the same as soon as I can find my plain black t-shirt. I want a giant Muse logo.
Good point. Though we seem to be doing a lot of advertising here...
They were fun to find. My 'source' really needs to update though. Maybe when they start playing in america again...
*Gasp* Glorious. Again.
"Hallo! I'm Matt Bellamy and we are The Muse"
AAAAAH! MATT AND DOM AND CHRIS HAVE MELDED TO FORM A SINGLE BEING CALLED "THE MUSE!!!!"

Yeah, I like the humour in the videos!!
Thanks for the link timmy, I'll check it out when I'm not so involved in studying as I'm supposed to be now!
What is the story and background of the band? Who are they, where are they from, what are their ambitions and ehh... what's their favorite hot dogs?

Hey! I actually knew you were talking to me that time! Go me! *dances*
I KNOW. I must have gotten that blasted message at least five times yesterday. none of the mods seem to know what's going on or how to fix it.
Ooh. Me. I vote for Matt for President of the Universe!!!
Microphones don't bend silly. Besides, you'd hurt from bending over all night. Although any later pain would be worth it to have Matt practically make out with you.
I too must go and find a plain black t-shirt. Hopefully sometime after the next two weeks are over and life is slightly more sane again. I don't know what I'll put on it. Probably play around with a couple of ideas until I have too many and can't decide which I like best. It happens every time.
They've done none here. That's why I didn't know about the concert until you told me. And even there it was all MCR! with pictures of them everywhere, like Muse didn't even matter.
You know I know what your 'source' is now, don't you? But don't worry. You can still be the Muse Picture Fairy.
That wouldn't work. Because upon searching for Muse stuff yesterday, I found that there already appears to be a band or something called "The Muse." Besides, I like Matt by himself. No fusing. Hey. That sounds funny. Fusing Muse.

Eä: http://www.musewiki.org knows all...
It's insane. I get it at least five times too, often more.
That smiley scares me.
Okay, my head will be the microphone and my body will be the stand, which BENDS.
That musical is eating you.
I meant us advertising on the forum. Our place is touting them as "With MCR and Muse, this will be the greatest modern rock concert the BJC has ever hosted." I spaz whenever I see it.
Yeah, and if you start going there and bringing back pictures the Muse Picture Fairy will go on strike. Besides, I show you all of the best ones anyway.
"Fusing Muse and Breaking Benjamin, one night only show!"

Darn it. I was going to post that link. But I didn't see ea's post until just now. It does know all. Tis awesome.
Yeah. It screws everything up. Sometimes it corrects itslef within a few minutes but other times it takes awhile. It's annoying.
I like him.
Sounds like a good plan. You're head had to be the microphone part anyway. For obvious reasons.
It is. Eating me. I've almost forgotten what it's like to breath and not have fifty things to stress about and do. I love doing it, but I'll be glad when it's over.
Oh. Yes we are. But the Matt is really more for me than for the rest of the forum.
You have to have an account to see the full sized ones anyway, which I don't. I could make one, but it's more fun getting them from you. I like you being the Muse Picture Fairy. You're good at it.
Yay! Awesomeness!

ohh... there's a wiki-based community about them... scary... I did get most of my questions answered... they're from the UK, their newest album is Black Holes and Revelations (did I remember correctly?) and they're well... yeah, did cover it I think...

^They are.
See, that's what I'm stuck on. Absolution has more of my favorite songs on it, but Blach Holes and Revelations has Starlight. Plus a bunch of other amazing songs. I can't decide which one I like better. Muse. Too much awesomeness to handle.
I just got back from church where I spent the entire time thinking about Matt and how awesome he is and what I would do and say if I met him. It was fun.

I have a new favorite by them ... Sunburn... so amazing!
Yesterday I asked my friend if it was possible to be obsessed with a song (coughStarlightcough) and she said yes... haha I think I might have to go into rehab...
And the day before yesterday I made a Starlight wallpaper... now I can be reminded of Muse/Starlight/Matt whenever I go on the computer

^Sunburn is amazing and one of my favorites too. And I love the wallpaper. I'll have to make myself a similar one in my size.
Starlight: I took Matt Jr. to church and some jerk grabbed him and ripped his arm off. I don't know when I'll have time to fix him.

Sunburn is awesome. The video for it is great as well.
I KNOW. Starlight is scarily addictive. Probably because it's one of the greatest songs ever. The wallpaper is AWESOME.
@tehtim4x: *gasp* That's horrible! Why? Why must people be so cruel? Don't worry. You'll have time to perform surgery one of these days, if you haven't already. It should be a relatively simple operation. But just out of curiousity, why'd you bring him to church with you? That's awesome. I wish I had a Matt Jr. doll to keep me company during church.

Eee... this thread has died! *tries to revive*
So um yeah.... *thinks of somthing Muse-ish to say*
Oh yes... I was driving home with my sister from school today and we were listening to Starlight, and she started making fun of it. So you know the part when he says "Starlight/ I will be chasing the starlight", well she thinks it sounds funny and has now mocked it several times in my presence while singing it in a very annoying voice.
Other than that she likes Muse... but I don't think she should make fun of them

^My mother mocks him too. I mean, she's only heard me play it 1,400 times...
SUNDAY. I AM SEEING MUSE LIVE SUNDAY. *Faints* Oh yes, I have my prediction for what they're going to play (In order, factoring in info about opening songs, popularity, singles, etc):
Plug In Baby OR Hysteria
Map of the Problematique
City of Delusion
Supermassive Black Hole
Invincible
Knights of Cydonia
Starlight
Now, I rounded all of the songs to five minutes and came up with a total time of 35 minutes, which I'll round to 40 to count talking and improv. I'm factoring in so little time for talking because of an interview with Matt where he says he talks very little at concerts.
I have a bunch of contacts who have been to other recent MCR shows that say the opening act gets about an hour. Which means there should be about 3 more songs. What they will be, I have no idea. They may do both Plug In Baby and Hysteria, or they may do more from Absolution, like Stockholm Syndrome (DEAR GOD PLEASE) or Thoughts of a Dying Atheist. I dunno.
DISCLAIMER 1: I'm probably totally wrong. But that's okay.
DISCLAIMER 2: Knights of Cydonia has been known to run as long as 15 minutes, and is often located that the very end of a set because it's exhausting. I did not factor in that, due to the fact that
-It was never a single in America, and is nowhere near as popular as some other songs
-Starlight is going to be the height of their show for about 90% of the audience, as that's the only song that's getting radio play, and even non fans know it.
My guess is that it will be second to last, with Starlight to end. But it may be reversed.
Woah. I'm giving this too much thought.

Awww sounds so exciting. I'd really like to see Muse live - I love concerts. I'm considering going to a music festival this summer where they will be performing.
I'm sure you'll have so much..ehh.. fun! But why did you only list 7 songs? They must be playing more songs to fill a set list...
