Hmmm. We rarely agree on music, so I shall have to wait and see what I think of the new album.

Yep. Steal steal steal.
Again, it's not bad at all... just not as epic in some ways as my favorite songs by them. Like, nothing except possibly The Feel Good Drag came close to matching the awesomeness (imho) of songs like Godspeed, (*Fin)... etc.

So if I ever pull a car heist or something a few years from now I can blame it all on you...
Well, there can only be so many songs like "Godspeed" and "Fin," or else the world's awesomeness limit would be exceeded.

CD pre-order started! w00t!
i can't decide whether to pre-order the physical CD, or wait for the music download....same problem with the new underoath...sigh...
also, i agree on the awesome of "feel good drag" and "(*Fin)." i have yet to hear the "new" version of "feel good drag," i like the original way too much. anyone know if its worth taking a look at?

Hmmm...I'm listening to the new version right now off their myspace, and it doesn't really measure up. I'm just so used to the other one, having memorized all of the guitar lines and vocal patterns, that just this sounds weird. Yeah, (*Fin) is a total classic. I have no idea what they're talking about, though. Does anybody have a guess?

OK, so the new album is now officially out! Who else has it? I went out to buy it tonight at Best Buy. It's amazing.

it IS awesome! i wore my brand spankin' new New Surrender shirt today in honor of it.

they were here last month and i didn't have a ride.....so i didn't go. which is a really lame reason for missing out on a concert. *headdesk*
