I'm an accomplished pianist, and previously played oboe and tuned percussion.
Currently I'm teaching myself violin and guitar, though in future I would also love to play harp and cello.
I haven't got the lungpower for anything wind or brass. I can only get one note out of a flute! Except for a recorder... Playing Concerning Hobbits on that gives me a buzz.

I play the flute. Or did. I'm debating on whether or not I want to join the Marching Band in college. I did it in high school. I've tried to teach myself how to play the piano, but failed miserably. I really want to play percussion-that's what I tried out to do in 5th grade, alas, by teacher back then was a sexist pig. *sigh* Flute will do I guess.

I have played the flute for 8 years, the trombone for 4 years, and the clairnet for 2 years. I also can play the piano but I am not very good. I really want to learn how to play the violin. I have a friend who could teach me if I wanted her to.
