They're only opening for My Chemical Romance. :( Sad but true. That means that they'll just get about an hour to perform. *Sadness*

BUT. Muse is Muse, no matter how long they have.

Ohh.. wow... really..??
I thought Muse would be bigger now than MCR... or at least more than just a warm up for the stars....
Still, an hour is a long time and that means they'll play the hits and do everything to make the crowd go all crazy for their performance in the short amount of time they've got! :-)

Not in America. We always get the good European bands YEARS after they break out elsewhere (Unless you're cool like me and use the UK iTunes Music Store... :P). In the rest of the world, MCR is opening for Muse.
Yep, because of the "I'll open for you if you open for me" deal, Muse is the "featured special guest" instead of some obscure band that only gets 30 minutes. Oh yeah. The mosh pit is going to be insane. *Cackles*

They're OPENING for MCR?

Psshhh! That's total crap. MCR should open for THEM. :P

I hope you have lots of fun, Mr. O! Knights of Cydonia at the end of the set sounds about right for them. :P Great song to end a set.

^Allow me to repeat, MCR IS opening for them in all of the smart countries of the world. We're dumb. *Nods*

Of course, MCR rocks too. Just not quite as much.

I certainly plan on it. *Dances*

The huge amount of pictures and video I'm going to have with the combined efforts of five friends and I will be awe-insipring.

True... actually you should be thankful you even get European bands to play overseas... They're mainly rejected even before they set foot on American soil...
Hmm... so a pretty good deal they worked out there after all!! :P

I think they realized that they have a pretty large fan base over here... Starlight is getting a bunch of airplay on the radio, they were VH1's "featured artist," and Black Holes and Revelations was in the top 20 most downloaded albums of iTunes for over a month.

But it really is a pain to have 90% of the bands that come here be overproduced American crap.

YES.

That's great, and it is a more or less secret and hidden dream for any European band to make it in the U.S. Whether it be only an sub-conscious wish caused by the socialisation telling them to chase the American dream... :P
America rules our lives...

That's kind of sad. But good for people who actively search out obscure non-American bands. Of course our musicians are pretty much "Hey, you wanna go to Europe?"
"I don't care. You?"
"Sure."
Noooo. Stay away from the American dream (Says the boy who's trying to teach himself to say "maths" instead of "math"). It will corrupt you...

It is very sad... The Europeans colonized the U.S. and now the Americans are colonizing the rest of the world!!

(Why would anyone want to say 'maths'? That's plural and sounds like there is more math than might be the case... that's horrific!)

EDIT: *Sobs* They've changed the rules. No cameras.

^No cameras???

I would seriously die. That's like one of my favorite things to do at a concert (take pictures).
But actually, bring one anyways. I've been to concerts before where cameras were not aloud and i've brought and used them.

I didn't get arrested either :teehee:

^That's what I'm doing. That's what we're all doing. We'll just wait and see what everyone else is doing, and if they're taking pictures and not getting in trouble, we'll follow. Even if they're not, I'm getting at least a couple.

I even have a dummy memory card in case they want to confiscate it. :P

^It was the original one and my brother dropped it in milk (Long story, don't ask). So I bought myself a new (4 gigabyte) one.

Thankfully the dead one doesn't short out the camera when I put it in. :P
