who else here loves ben folds? my friend's big sister used to always listen to him, so we did too of course. i've loved his music since i was like 7. my favorite songs by him are the luckiest, still fighting it, and gracie girl. and lots of others, of course. |

^ Yes! He did sing Jesus Land! I love Ben Folds too! He's so good on the piano. My friend has got a video of him in concert. He's just amazing. My curretn favorite of his songs is called Zak and Sara. Anyone heard of it? And how about that song he wrote about his daughter, Gracie Girl? I thought that was so sweet! I have still fighting it written in my notebook of notes and things I write. My friend says that no book is complete without a Ben Folds song, so she took the liberty of writing it in there. It's a good song. I think his most famous one if probably Brick. It's kind of on the depressing side. realizing how long this post is, I think I should probably end it now. I'm not a fanatic really, or an expert. I just really like this guy's music. |

i love zak and sara! and we call my niece gracie so i always sing gracie girl to her. has anyone heard fred jones part 2? i love that one. |

Yep. Zak and Sara is an awesome song. It's very catchy. I've never heard of Fred Jones Part 2. What album is it on? That's so cute that you sing Gracie Girl to your niece! So.... do you like Ben Folds better solo or when he was with the Ben Folds Five? |

fred jones part 2 is off of the rockin' the suburbs album. i like ben folds and ben folds five the best. lol |

Rockin' the Suburbs. LOL. That's a good one too. I thought it was so funny that he was soing the music for a little kids movies. I heard they kept having to make him take out the innappropriate words, and he kept arguing that they didn't matter. I'm not really big on cursing myself, but I respect other people's right to talk that way. I just don't do it myself. and it's not going to stop me from listening to good songs. I think I like him solo best, but Ben Folds Five still rocks my suburbs!
