music is just everywhere for me. i play the flute, i am very religious and there is plenty of music at church, i took dance lessons for ten years, and it inspires me. honestly, i wouldn't be the person i am today without it. who needs rap and hip hop! Aren't you ever just completely taken by music you hear in fantasy movies?? LOTR? Narnia? And Eragon is lined up for good stuff! I mean, that's the first thing I notice. It takes me away. It helps me cry when I need to, but can't.

I don't mean to impose upon you. never wanna do that to anyone, but if you get a chance, try listening to some movie sountracks like LOTR and Narnia. I think you are the kind of person who would REALLY enjoy them. there are no words on most, but the songs are beautiful

no offence, but i'm honestly in shock - i can't believe anyone could not listen to music. i'm completely with sam on this one - music is everywhere for me too (funnily enough i also play the flute, love christian music, and dance).

there are things you just can't put into words and art is how you fill that gap, and that includes music - as the saying goes, "where words fail, music speaks". when i listen to music, it takes my soul somewhere else, somewhere better, and i can feel it in my body. music can make me smile and it can make me cry; it can make me dance and it can make my whole body slow down. it's an incredible experience and you're missing out.

*headbangs to Welcome to the Black Parade*

I wasn't into the whole band thing much...until fifth grade. you just have to find someone you like. not all music is the same. though you may think you don't like it just because the main stream stuff isn't your thing, look around a bit. my friend got me into the AAR and they got me into all of the music i like now. *shrugs* you may never find anything you like, but it's worth searching around a bit. bands all have such wonderful different things to offer.

I can't live without music! If I'm at home, music is playing... for sure. Music is my life. If I'm sad, happy, sick, depressed, she always helps.

I can believe that... a little over a year ago, I couldn't tell you the difference between rock and pop. But it all changed with turning on the radio one fateful weekend...
