Yay! The Decemberists!

I decided to start a thread dedicated to them hoping all of us can unite. :teehee: Anyways, I'm a big fan of them :) I love the songs "16 Military wives", "The Crane Wife 3", "The Engine Driver" and "The Mariner's Revenge Song"

If you haven't heard of them, they're different, they sing Sea Shanties (listen to "The Mariner's Revenge" for a perfect example) and they are amazing.

They're new album "The Crane Wife" recently came out, it's amazing. Yeah.

OH yay for The Decemberists! These guys are amazing!! I can't think of any of my favourite songs....:P

I was really sad that I missed their performance here. *sigh* Oh well...maybe I'll just go out and buy their new album! :)

Ha, I tried to buy a ticket to their show, sadly they were sold out, I was so disappointed. Oh well, Anyways, yes, their new cd is wonderful, actually all their cds are great. :teehee: I'm very fond of Picaresque, it's fun! Also, MB, I highly suggest you to look up the music video to "16 military wives", it's about a school's MUN....It's highly entertaining. :teehee:
