I abslutely love the Rasmus! :)
At the moment I have 'help me sing' stuck on repeat. Love that song. One of their best, me thinks. 8)

Anyone else like them, or has no one heard of them?

I've heard of them, and I used to be addicted to them! I still like them, but not as much as I used to. My favourite song would have to be 'Still Standing', if I had to choose one.

And there's the bonus of Lauri being extremely hot, of course. ;)

Yay! There are other who like the Rasmus!! :)
No one I've talked to in Australia has really heard of them; except when you mention 'in the shadows', but then people dont know who sings it. :P Glad I'm not alone in loving them!! :bounce: :punk:

yes, have heard of them. the song 'in the shadows' was a BIG HIT here (Denmark). They're from finland! Wee! Love Finland. Have never been there but still love it.

But well, I don't really listen to them. I like In the Shadows, and some other songs but no more than that...
And I'm also a little annoyed by the front man's hair... feathers is it?

He said in an interview that he was representing The Crow, played by Brandon Lee. I don't think it looks that good, lol!

Ihave been there.... once.... or actually many times...... or an year..... or many years.... or 15 years..... actually I LIVE IN THERE! :) Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that we have some other global bands than The Rasmus:

96 Eyes
Nightwish
Darude
HIM
Boufunk MC's
TikTak

About 4 years ago Nightwish tried to Eurovision Song Contest but Finnish people didn't understand their music. That's why Finland got only 0 points..... again. :wave:

I'm finnish, and I don't like them :) it's queer that I dont know any finnish person who likes them, but lots of ppl from other countries than finland like the band :D

I got really into them a while back when I got their first album, then had to buy their second. I love Still Standing, Dancer in the Dark and Funeral Song. Lauri rocks!!

I like Lauri singing with Apocalyptica & Ville Valo (Bittersweet; awesome song :D) but overall I don't like them much.

"In The Shadows" is an awesome song. Can't say I have heard much else of their stuff though. I remember wanting to get their albums at one point but that never happened :p

I love the music video for the song as well, especially the version with the girl from the past seeing a Rasmus concert in her mirror! It rocks ^_^

I'm a huge fan of Finnish bands (Korpiklaani, Nightwish, Turisas, Finntroll...) but I haven't taken to The Rasmus at all.
