I've been a fan of Blackmoore's Night since the album Shadow of the Moon came out. Having been a fan of Ritchie Blackmoore & Deep Purple in the 70's, I found it interesting his musical direction he'd taken with his lovely wife Candice Night. They do some great live shows, and their covers of Deep Purple's Soldier of Fortune and Joan Baez's Diamonds & Rust are simply awesome! I like their cover of Uriah Heep's Lady in Black on their new album too. Love Blackmoore's Night!

I've been a HUGE fan of Blackmore's Night for over 7 years now. It was their cover of Joan Baez's Diamonds and Rust that made me an instant fan and they have since then become my second favorite band after Nightwish. :notworthy:

They do a cracking job of Diamonds & Rust live! Candice has such a beautiful voice, and with the lyrical genius of Joan Baez, it is quite magical.

I think the fact the song is about the relationship Bob Dylan and Joan Baez had makes it bring a tear to my eye whenever I hear Joan, and Candice, sing it live.
Maybe because I can relate somewhat on a certain level.

Judas Priest , not so much.

Village on the Sand and Just Call My Name (I'll be there) are two songs I listen too all the time!
