I don't care for love songs honestly. There's maybe a few that I can tolerate and think "yeah, this is an okay song."

For me I think that the most romantic song of all time would have to be Your Song by Elton John Then second after would be Hey There Delilah by Plain White T's |

Annie's Song is the most romantic song I have ever heard. Such beautiful words John Denver sings to his wife. And what's nice is that her name isn't mentioned in the song so the words can apply to anyone you love. |

I always like it when singers actually sing it to their spouse instead of just a random love song. (Here I am... The guy who isn't into love songs much haveing a conversation about them.).

Sounds kind of similar to what Jason Wade from Lifehouse did with some of his songs. Namely "You And Me" and "Somewhere In Between". |

I've never heard of this song "A Thousand Years", but I enjoy the song "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton. Dido has a lot of songs as well "White Flag" "Thank You" and "Pairs" to name a few. |

When I heard of the passing of Paul Kantner the other day, I listened to Jefferson Airplane's Today for the first time in many many years. It is quite a powerful love ballad from the psych-rockers. Rest in Peace Paul - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Question....Can a song be "romantic" if it is about breaking up? |

To most that would sound odd coming from a woman, but that's if one plays by the stereotype that all women like that stuff, which is not true. I'm a rocker/metal chick, we don't like it lol I can only tolerate a few from animated Disney films. They're not too deep into the whole love thing. |
