.........interestingly, the snowscape looks like where I live, except there are great mountains all about.

That is lovely! Although my years living in the Washington State Cascades really gave me enough snow for a lifetime.

LOL!!!! They do have a lot of snow, there. I enjoy the winter months as long as I have fuel, socks, and a snug place to be. It's the time to hunker down and do some projects.

Yeah, lol. I have never been too fond of winter. I mean it looks pretty and all but I get cold really easy and once I am cold I just can't get warm. *shivers thinking about it*

But it makes for really neat scenery!

I used to crave winter-time, but I've become intolerant to cold over the years. But, it never ceases to amaze me at how clean and new everything looks when the snow falls. Snow hides many things. And, I do get fascinated by watching the creek in my front yard freeze over, particularly when the spring melt occurs. I will, however, take cold over heat and humidity! :)

Well, I count you lucky! lol It's no fun not being able to have fun in the snow easily. Haha. Though on the flip side the heat does not bother me. *shrugs* So I guess I have that going for me. lol

Watching the creek freeze and all would be fun, I would not mind that.... if I didn't have to be cold to do it! lol I could watch it from inside sitting by a nice cozy fire.... only our creek is a quarter mile from the house.

My place is directly on a bold creek and the "first floor" is a flight above the basement, so sitting on the deck gives an elevated view of the surroundings. PLUS, it's safe to put out bird feeders as the bears are unable to reach them. I'd post an image of this year's winter if I knew how! LOLOLOL!!!!

That sounds really nice Silverleaf!! You can do images from a phone or computer using an attachment. Other wise you need the picture hosted on some kind of web page so you can get a url for it. At least those are the only two ways I know to do it. If you get it to work I sure would like to see the pictures!

I have all of these images on file on my computer.......I don't have a cell phone, on purpose. SO........if anyone can tutor me on how to post images from my computer, let me know. I did a bunch of tiles, last night, and I want to post the images when they're finally finished, if that would be appropriate.

Awesome! (And you are probably the smart one for not having a cell phone. I honestly would not have on either if it were not for needing it for work)

From your computer (this should work) when you click on the full editor when posting, if you scrill down beneath the submit button there should be a place for attachments. Click choose file, and then find the file on your computer. Then after the file is selected click the "Add the File" button and it should load it as an attachment to your post. The maximum size it will let you load is 75 KiB. (Which means... nothing to me. I don't know that technical stuff :p )

The only way I know to do it if the image is too big is open the picture in a photo editing program or something simple like paint and downsize the entire photo.

Now... if I have fully confused you... I guess I'll see if you can make sense of my ramblings. :p
