I'm just wondering if there are any dancers out there in this forum. Do you dance? What's your fav music to dance to?

Hehe, I'm afraid I'm not graceful enought to dance. One time when I was little, I filmed myself dancing, and I felt so beautiful and graceful, but later, I watched and was horrified at how stupid I looked.
Perhaps it could've been helped with the proper training. I took clogging for about 4 years but then quit because of the...well never mind. So I'd say I'm a pretty good tap dancer, but that's it. |

I know a bit of swing, but it's only a very casual interest. The nice thing about swing dancing and being a girl is that you don't really need all that much talent, you just follow the guy...unless you get into the fancy aerial stuff...then you need more talent
I've been wanting to learn some of those old country dances like what they do in Pride and Prejudice. |

I´m way too clumsy to dance. Besides, I don´t wanna dance at the school dances bc everybody else do. *nerdy rebel I am* I think that almost every music is good for dancing, but you must feel it. |

Ooh, I've been to a couple parties where we've done that! It's very fun. Although, they were all-girl parties so there were no boy partners -- huge bummer. But the steps and dances themselves were very elegant and fun to do. We all even dress up in Pride and Prejudice-type dresses, and did our hair.
If anyone is interested, here is a picture from the Christmas party that my sister hosted last year: http://photobucket.com/albums/b302/Daug ... 004037.jpg (I'm on the left, my sis on the right) I also went to a Scottish Festival with friends of ours who are from Scotland. Of course we danced. It was delicious fun! And we actually had male partners, but of course none my age. I remember there was one obviously drunk man who asked me to dance...that was a little...weird. (I just quickly ran and found my sister to be my partner )

That's neat. A costume party! I went to a black and white party and dressed in my mom's vintage 80's dress. I thought it was neat. It was short and strapless. It had a madonna feel to it. It was puffy. |

Hahha, it's sort of like my mum's idea to have a big Lord of the Rings party in the woods...
