This goes along with music in a way, but I was wondering if there is anyone else out in the world who simply does not listen to music. I mean, I am not into bands and all that rot, I dont own 1 CD :-D My family isnt so big on music...

Oh wow... I am shocked... lol :p

I come from a musical household and was basically raised on singing and all sorts of music. Not a day goes by without me listening to my mp3 player (which has over 1,500 songs on it lol), playing instruments or singing. I would seriously die without music, it's the very essence of my soul. I own close to 300 CDs :)

I too would die without it. Music has been in my family since I can remember. I think I got my love of it from my mum who listened to music every day of her life.
I cannot think of a day where I haven't ever listened to music.
I have cds, vinyl lp's even dvd's of bands live performances ect and I have almost 3,000 songs on my WinAmp.

I don't think I could go a long time without listening to music, either :erm: However, up until about the age of 13, I didn't own any CDs, and I didn't start listening to music on the computer until I was maybe 14...so yeah...but my family has a ton of old record albums and cassette tapes. It's very rare that the day will go by now without my listening to a ton of songs on my computer, though (my charts tell me I listen to about 400-500 songs a week). I admit that there ARE times when for some reason I overload on music and just can't find anything that suits my mood, so I go for quiet.

Pretty much my whole life is centered around music. Whenever i am feeling in a bad mood, i pop in some good olides and i get happy. Whenever i want to dance i pop in some songs with good beats. Whenever i feel like headbanging i pop in some hard rock. . .whenever i feel like being mellow i pop in some indie. . .i like all music, it is my life.

My first LP (apart from kiddie stuff) was the Dick Tracy soundtrack. My first EP was "En Dag" by Tommy Nilsson (Swedish entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in 1989). I then bought my first CD in 1991, it was by the Swedish pop duo Lili&Susie lol

I wouldn't say don't like music, but its in no way a fundamental part of my life. Its nice to listen to some easy going stuff on my iPod after school, but otherwise it means nothing to me. *shrugs*

I listen to music pretty much all the time. I'm always listening to music, finding new people I like... though my first and greatest musical love is the LotR soundtracks. I would die without music. Music is an essencial part of my being, a piece of my soul. Music helps me sort out my feelings, helps me figure out a bit more about myself and the world around me.

Boy, was that sappy or what... :teehee:

Not sappy at all. Music is very emotive and can be very helpful in a variety of ways.
