Covers, covers...well, I love Lacuna Coil's cover of Depeche Mode's "Enjoy the Silence." I like Nightwish's covers of "Where Were You Last Night" (I don't know who wrote the original, sorry) and "Walking in the Air." Epica's cover of "Memory" (from Cats) is great. Josh Groban performed a nice version of Simon & Garfunkel's "America."

Covers are just...interesting. It's always fun to hear someone's interpretation of a song!

EDIT: ah yes, and Hayley Westenra's covers of May It Be and Both Sides Now are cool

Crucify, covered by Sharon den Adel of Within Temptation, original by Tori Amos - I like Sharon's version better, actually...she does cool things with her voice

One Day I'll Fly Away, originally by someone I don't know, featured in Moulin Rouge, covered by After Forever - I like the Moulin Rouge version better...AF's version is cool but just...odd...

Losing My Religion, originally by REM, covered by Anouk - I really, really, really love Anouk's version!

Truly, Madly, Deeply, originally by Savage Garden, covered by Cascada - I like the Cascada version better because the original is...sloooowww....

My December, originally by Linkin Park, covered by Josh Groban - well...I didn't know it was a cover song until a few days ago...and I haven't heard the original all the way through, so I'm going with Josh's Because he's Josh

Phantom of the Opera, originally by Andrew Lloyd Webber, covered by Nightwish and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes - the Nightwish cover is cool The other cover is really amusing. I still like the original best though.
