Are there any fans of the Man In Black out there? I think he's a great singer and I love how he sings and the songs that he sings. Anyone else? |

My mum was a real country music fan, so I was raised on Johnny Cash. A very talented man, that will be sadly missed. |

^ I second that. He is one of my favourite country artists. I also like his group the Highwayman with Willie Nelson, Chris Kristofferson and Waylon Jennings. |

I'm not a huge country fan to be honest. But there's some sort of crossover appeal that Johnny had with his music. It just stuck with me through my life. I absolutely adore his cover version of Nine Inch Nails' Hurt. Just beautiful and haunting. |

I actually haven't heard Nine Inch Nails Hurt. Ring Of Fire is one of my favourites and I think the song your referring to is Folsom Prison Blues or San Quentin. He sang them both in prisons. |

I haven't seen Walk the Line yet. But I want too, Joaquin Phoenix is such a great actor and what I've seen has done a fine job paying tribute, as did Reese. |

They sing all their songs themselves, which is great. I would really advise you to watch it! However shocking the truth about so great a singer is. |

There isn't much that shocks me lol. I know about the things he did. It's what makes him more real to me as a performer. |
