The Story Ends...

I know, I know. It's quite sad, but it's well into November and the Hallowfest is unfortunately o...o-o---... over. Yes, it's over. D:

This is just an announcement post to signal the ending, it's tragic. But your ranks should be back if you have been turned into a ghost. All the Hallowfest threads have been moved to the Misc. Randomness section as with the threads of the first Hallowfest.

A feedback thread has been posted in the Polling section ( http://www.arwen-undomiel.com/forum/vie ... hp?t=19463 ) so head over there and express your opinion on how the second Hallowfest went, and discuss ways to make it better.

I would also like to give special thanks to.... JOHNNY'S FAN and various other members who helped in either organizing the 'fest, advertising, etc. I really wouldn't have buckled down to get it set up if it hadn't been for you guys.

Most specifically, thank you JF, for helping so much in setting up the Fest to make it better, more fun, and exciting. You were the one who really got involved, discussed the possibilities on how to set it up this year, helped me with the mansion map, and setting the out-of-roleplay contests. For that, I'm grateful, and I feel horrible that you had to get sick, not once but twice, during the Hallowfest period. I think a lot of others are grateful for your Hallowfest day-by-day summaries that you posted despite your health and your sanity.

I'd also like to thank Ea, who helped with issues during the Hallowfest, Fencing Maiden and Altariel Frodo, who basically were the discussion leaders for the guesses on the killer. Fencing Maiden, for setting up the Hallowfest Guessing chatroom, which is a fabulous idea and should be incorporated next year. Thanks to all the advertisers out there, who sacrificed their signature space for the Hallowfest. :p We appreciate you, too. Thanks to all the ghosts who were good sports, despite being dead the majority of the ride.

Lastly, thanks Nurrantiel for being an awesome killer and a great person to work with through the duration of the Hallowfest. And maybe you too, potr. You creeper.

(I pressume we're allowed to reply to this, right? :erm:)

I just have to say that I thought the Hallowfest was amazing. And I would second Kit's thanks to JF, FM, AF, Ea, and Nurr. You guys rock. :P

And, of course, THANK YOU, KIT!!!

There would be no fest without you... and I hope you do one next year. ;)

Thank you to Kit for being such an amazing host, and a special thank you to JF for hosting all those awesome contests and for writing up daily summaries of the events even whilst battling sickness. Your summaries kept me from being buried in the posts that were posted while I was away at school every day. I couldn't have kept up without you.
