Oh that is annoying! No one ever mixes up my name on this forum, most ppl just know me as Hermione. My real name is DEVON PAGE. At school, on the rosters and roll call lists they say the first name and then the last, like:
Page, Devon
or
Green, Jenny

Anyways, all of the teachers just assume that my name is Page Devon. (Why, I'm not sure because most ppl whose name is page is spelled Paige.)

They also always call me devON' but it's actually pronounced DEV'on. It's very frustrating.

I'm pretty careful about spelling people's names right (I usually copy and paste ) so I don't think I've mispelled yours I understand that it would be annoying after so many people keep on making the same mistake.

Tons of people have spelled my name wrong. Beriandwen is common, but I know it's a hard name to spell So call me Beri, please...

I've had a few mistakes of my name--most common is 'oru', which annoys me a bit, but then again, I could get called a lot worst! I'm not bothered about what people call me--Ororuthiel, Oro, Ruthy, etc.--long as it's spelt right. And I always copy/paste peoples names too, but sometimes I use their nicknames.

Yeah, well I used to do it all the time. Now I usually just do it when I welcome new members. Especially when names have have a bunch of accents
