Caunion and Helena left the food area so they could do what they have came here to do: dance. As they entered the banks, Helena asked, "Are you quite sure you can dance?"
Caunion laughed and said, "Been around six hundred years, me. I think you can assume at some point I've danced."
"What kind of dancing, though?" she asked inquisitively, with a glint of laughter in her eyes.
At that point Caunion closed his mouth and instead, offered his arm to her. She accepted his hand and slowly they began to dance.

After several dances, Aduilore began to feel famished. Josh seemed to pick up on it, and they left together for the food area.

After several dances, Legolas whispered softly to his wife. "Would you like to head to the dining hall, my love " he asked, sensing her hunger.

Elenriel nodded in response, grateful that he had picked up on it without her having to say anything. With that the couple headed to the dining area.

Nurr rushed onto the green lush banks, out of breath from racing to get to the ball. Noticing the place was all to herself, she turned and beckoned to a figure under the trees. "Come on, Mat! No one's here anyway, and I know you like to dance."
A sheepish grin across his face, Mat Cauthon stepped onto the sunny green with her. "Well, that is true, I guess," he commented. "Care to dance, m'lady?" He swept a bow.
"Oh, you tease, you," Nurr laughed. Grasping his hands, she whirled across the banks.

Will and Drew waved to everyone there. Then Will gently placed one of his arms around Drew's shoulder and the other around her waist. They had to get at least one dance in before the ball ended. Celion Deion's (I have got to learn how to spell that...) Power Love of began to play. It had sort of became Will and Drew's song. They slowly swayed back and forth. Will was not the best dancer...far from it...but he was improving with al of the practice he was getting from attneding all of these dancesparties/balls with his wife. They just swayed back and forth lost in each other's eyes beneath the starry sky.

The ball was winding to an end with only one more day left, and Severus and Ilmarë wanted to make the most of it. The two wound their way through the trees to the banks of the Anduin once more. Many couples were already dancing and the couple watched contentedly for a while before joining the throng themselves.

As their song ended, Drew and Will tore their eye's away from the other's, long enough to see who had joined the make shift dance floor. When they realized that it was Ilmare Tintalle and Snape, they smiled and waved at their friends. Then another song began to play (on their ipods...so that everyone can play listen/dance to whatever song they want to ), it was Little Big Town's, "Give me a Little More You". Drew placed both of her hands into Will's, twirled around to where her back was facing Will, and then turned back around to face Will once again with a huge grin spread across her face.

Severus dipped Ilmarë just as the dance ended. The two straightened up again just in time to see Will and Drew waving at them. Ilmarë smiled and waved back. It was wonderful to see her friends so happy.

Drew and Will smiled at Snape and Ilmare Tintalle as they waved back at them. They really did make a nice couple and it was nice to see them having such a nice time.
Drew giggled as her husband left go of one of her hands in order to spin her around. As she once again grasped both of Will's hands in her own she began to mouth the lyrics to the song that they were listening. Will joined her in mouthing the lyrics to the song. Drew was a pretty bad singer and Will well...he did not sing in public so lipsyncing (spelling?...lipsinking....uh...I have no idea...sorry ) the song seemed to work just fine for them. Though they knew that they were probabley being stared at by now. They did not seem to care though, as both spun around the dance floor (together this time).

With the ball closing to an end, (it went by fast ) Eruraina and Haldir made their way back to the dance floor. Instead of joining the other dancers, Haldir took Eruraina's hand. "Come," he said and he lead her a ways down the river, out of eyeshot from everyone. "This is better." Eruraina shook her head. "I knew you were going to do that." Haldir smiled. "You know me very well, my love," he replied and gave her a quick kiss then pulled her close to him. He held her close, wrapping his arms protectively around her as they danced.

With the ball nearly over, Elenya and Peter walked to the edge of the dance floor. "Want to give it a try?" Peter asked.
Elenya grinned a bit hesitantly. "I guess so- I haven't danced that much, though."
Peter shook his head. "Me neither."
They stepped out onto the floor and started to dance. Elenya tried to keep one eye on the other couple to watch their steps.
After a few minutes the song ended, and they stepped back from each other. "Well, that could have been worse, I guess." Elenya said, laughing.
Peter smiled too. "Should we go someplace else?"
They had both ended up stepping on each others' toes a few times. It looked like dancing just wasn't their thing.

"WHAT? THERE'S A BALL ON? Shucks...I didn't know and it's almost over." Nuilanwen said with a sigh as she leaned against the wall.
