@Taur: You're welcome to it. What "saying" are you thinking of putting on your banner?
@Everyone: Stop stroking my ego. I'm glad I could put it on this year. I had forgotten it entirely if it hadn't been for Johnny's Fan. [BIGHUGGLES] And Tar-Samara and Ea are right, I probably would have a hard time NOT putting it on next year for fear of disappointing so many people.

*gives her ceremonial thank you's to everyone who has been a part of HallowFun*
Kit already knows she's the best, Nurr was a perfect killer and the rest of you guys were really fun fellow guests and detectives. I've enjoyed this very much.

Mission accomplished! You evil... non-killer... and mind-player! *shakes fist*
I understand why Nurr needed someone to confide in, which was partly why I loved the idea of two killers. I mean think about going for TWO weeks and keeping a secret like that... that's not even fun. I didn't think Kit was that cruel - but also as a security in case we did guess the killer before time.

Whoa...Nurr?? I never suspected her!
Well done, Kit! These two weeks were SO much fun, even though I wasn't around very much I always looked forward to a few minutes when I could catch up. The Hallowfest was really excellent this year. And thanks to everyone who participated and helped out! Whee!
And I'm totally making a similar banner for myself, too.

Oh my goodness.
This must go on next year. It must. I had so much fun. And hopefully I get better at this catching the killer thing.

Haha, I need to perfect my personality for next year, because I got so caught up in the clues, I dropped most of the crazyrandomfacts!Tar persona.
But yes, I will have it down packed. As usual.

I kinda want to go as Wadsworth next year. I don't think I can pull it off, though. But then, I have an entire year to practice.

Okay. All these banners are really irking me.
I WANT ONE. I WANT ONE ---NOW---.
EDIT. Okay here's my discussion on the clues.
Profile wrote: Name: Nurrantiel Profession: Mystery Novelist Hobbies: drawing, reading, watching movies, singing, music Favorites: LotR, Narnia, Star Wars, Wheel of Time, Psych, classical movies and actors, chocolate Dislikes: Twilight, the color pink, baseball, makeup Other: I love mystery stories (Agatha Christie & Sherlock Holmes), enjoy eating Jolly Ranchers, and love history.
1. I think Nurrantiel was the first person I officially "welcomed" into the Hallowfest. The Horseman appeared and Fluffy appeared but they just came. I didn't officially welcome them. I also welcomed Galatea at the same time.
2. The Tools missing from the Toolbox was obviously a red herring. It was supposed to play into later plot, but it never worked out.
3. The carrot. Yeah, that was just to refer to the horrible Hallowfest last year.
4. FIRST MURDER: Saffron Orange. Fountain in the Garden. Drowned. Old Map. Fountain and the Drowning were all just methods of murder. Nothing more. So... you could see it as a red herring but it wasn't meant as one. But the whole POTC connection was fabulous. Old Map was the clue here, emphasizing on the old; therefore, historic. Nurrantiel obviously likes history.
5. Missing cat. Haha. Yeah. Red herring. I just... wanted to mess with everyone.
6. SECOND MURDER: Lord and Lady Death. Library. Dumped on by Twilight books. Carpet smelled of flowers. Anyone ever consider that maybe, just maybe the carpet just smells like flowers? Did anyone ever consider flopping down on the carpet in random rooms and checking to see if it also smelled like flowers? Twilight was to refer to both Larael's hatred for Twilight and Nurrantiel's. Wide range, obviously.
7. THIRD AND FOURTH MURDERS: The Militia Men. Turwaithion and Elegost Eruaphadion. Dining Room. Both way too attached to their weapons. Poisoned. Wow. THAT was easy. Poisoned in their food. The food was never specified as a clue. Elegost had liberties as to say what type of food he was eating, but it was never a definite food. Food was just to indicate some sort of eat-a-ble item on profiles. As Nurr pointed out: 'chocolate' was listed on hers. Their clue: female. Well... if Elegost dies. It'll be because the murderer's a murderess.
8. Pinata. Lasso. Red herring. Was meant to implicate Fluffy. But that just flew waaay past everyone's heads. Then Nurrantiel specifically broke open the pinata to be the first to get to the Turkish Delight. I even roleplayed it. It felt really awkward though. I announced weirdly that I "randomly" picked Nurrantiel to break it open. Apparently I pulled it off really well.
9. Missing coffee. Red herring. But it was used later on... so... only half a red herring.
10. Coffee found in the candy bucket. This was sort of a red-herring, if not foreshadowing. The fact that it came from buckets were supposed to implicate anyone who used the buckets, so whoever didn't use a bucket would more than likely be the murderess.
11. FIFTH MURDER: Ea. Good, sweet, Ea. In the Drawing Room, with a knocked over chair and a really, really bad facial. Scalded by hot coffee! Yikes! Crime of opportunity. Coffee is missing, might as well implicate someone. Taurquende! Great choice! The book "Acting for Dummies: 101 Tips" also implicates Taurquende. Most of you were right in thinking that it was much too obvious for her to be the murderer, but... you guys ended up accusing her anyways! [tut, tut]
12. "Something orange" was meant to indicate that Nurrantiel had had her Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin as her signature for the Hallowfest for a while now. This narrows it down to people with orange sigs or pumpkin themed sigs.
13. SIXTH MURDER: Galatea. Conservatory. Strangled by a curtain. Harry Potter reference. LOTR sheet music on the piano. LotR implicates anyone obviously, but both Harry Potter and LotR? And music. Hey, look. Nurrantiel's profile has all three. Galatea's time of death correlates with Ea's time found. Implicating that whoever was present at Ea's time found could not be the killer.
14. SEVENTH MURDER: Indilwen. I apologize that you had to go, lol. But you were the last murder. Yes. She was POISONED by the Turkish Delight. But Nurrantiel wasn't poisoned by the Turkish Delight. She ate some delight but not poisoned delight. It was supposed to be thought that Indilwen died first and Nurrantiel then took the poison directly, no through Turkish Delight. The books as Nurrantiel already pointed out all relates to her interested listed in her profile: These massive clues points to her, but she was 'killed', she couldn't be the killer! And Then There Were None = Agatha Christie. LWW = Narnia. Tales of the Empire = Star Wars. Silmarillion = Tolkien.
15. The Ghost that never was. Nurrantiel was the only ghost that NEVER came back. She never appeared back in the mansion to reveal any "clue" but her absence was supposed to be the clue. She was a ghost now and she had left the mansion, thereby escaping with the murders.
Other Clues that are probably to vague to be intended.
At the beginning of the Hallowfest, before it even started. I posted in this headquarters thread saying that the killer has been chosen from the guest list as of October 11-3th. This means that Saxon, TheThain, Turwaithion, Taurquende, Fragile Silence, Wicked Witch, Organ Grinder, and anyone else who joined AFTER October 13th could not have been the killer.
On the photo image I posted. One of the polaroids was labeled "October 22nd." October 22nd was the day I requested a sig-set, which Nurrantiel promptly made for me. Vague, and stretching but it worked out beautifully.

I've got to get me one of those banners, too.
Thank you so much for doing all this, Kitoky! It was incredibly fun and I had a great time. I don't know how you managed to make it go so smoothly, but you did! *cheers for Kit*
Oh, and randomly-
Ways to know you are obsessed with the Hallowfest
While doing homework at school, you suddenly realize that Kit may have revealed the killer by now, and you promptly rush to the school library to find out who it was.
Yes, this was me this afternoon.

Wow. Excellent explanation of clues, Kit; I am once again in awe. Sneaky sneaky.
And I can't believe it's over. I'm clinging to Fragile Silence for a few more hours yet...

Yay! I made me a banner! I really felt left out. xD
Note: Those whose status was changed to ghost. You'll probably have those status until a week from now. Then I'll have to revert them back again.
So correct me if I'm wrong.
Previous status:
Saffron Orange - Normal
Lady Death - Welcomater
Turwaithion - Normal
Elegost - Normal
Ea - Normal
Galatea - Normal
Indilwen - Normal
Nurrantiel Mashiara - Normal

I am in absolute shock and awe right now. Perhaps a smack to the head would do me some good. *bows down to teh Kit, Nurr, and potr* You're absolute geniuses... This whole Hallowfest just went right over my head, it did. I can't wait til next year.
Would it possible for me to get one of those nifty banners?

Nice clue-revealing *applauds*
And here is all the ingredients to a crime fiction.. oh, we just had one. Who's going to write it down and publish it, we can make big money here!
EDIT: Wonderful, Kit has already written first chapter of the A-U Chronicle of the Second Annual HallowFest, who's doing the next?
The Headless Horseman wrote: (why couldn't you read Nurr's mind and save yourself Ea?).
Read my profile again... failed mind-reader, never succeeded in doing a correct mind reading in the Mansion!

I have a quick question- does anyone have Kitoky's picture with "Confidential" on it, like in the banners? If it's around here somewhere I'm missing it, and I'd like to make myself a nifty banner. Could someone direct me to it or post it for me, pretty please?
