so we're officially in a drought....we're only aloud 2 use water 2 like wash cars & stuff during certain hours & only on like 3 days of the week....it def sucks....can we borrow sum of that rain, jax?

sorry i havent been on, guys! i got a wonderful sinus infection....blech. i thought my face was gonna explode. so i've already missed 4 days this year, which sucks, cuz usually i only miss like 2 in like april. (which is when my allergies USUALLY bother me....)

Good news!! my grandma had her lumpectimy thursday & they said the cancer's gone! thanks so much for teh prayers u guys! it really does mean a lot! she still has to get radiation & prob chemo....but it's still gone! so thank u!! *hugs*

i watched FotR last nite.....its rlly sad how long it's been since i'd watched it! since it's a 3-day weekend, my dad & i figured we'd watch 'em...so we're watchin TTT 2day & RotK 2morrow.....rather exciting! lol

The people out here have said that we're in a drought for at least five years now, and we have all sorts of regulations too. I don't really get it though- five years ago it did seem like we were in a drought, but it doesn't anymore. *shrugs*

I really need to watch all of the LotR movies again. It's been a few months. Sounds like a lot of fun though.

I'm enjoying the three day weekend too. I'm going over to a friend's tonight, which I'm really looking forward to. I'm not sure what I'm doing the rest of the weekend though.

lol Well.... we have been in a drought like the last five years as well. We got rain twice for a total like 2-3 inches but it is so dry here that it is already all dried up, and our pond is practically dried up.... which stinks.

It's wonderful to hear about your grandma! God can do amazing things, we just need to ask sometimes.

It's been a while since I watched any of those movies... really it's been a while since I watched any movies. Lately all I have been watching is Tennis because the US open is going right now and pretty soon Wimbeldon is coming up. So *shrugs* well, hope you guys have a great day talk to you later. *waves*

Well, hope you have fun at the game! I just got through watching Narnia again. I think it gets better each time I watch it. lol I can't wait until the next one comes out.


Other than that there have been a few new things. I will hopefully be getting my drivers license Monday. And if I can find out the information I might see if I can get a job as a security guard at a prison, I just need to be sure that's what God wants. So prayer for His guidance would be much appreciated in that matter. Other than that it's all normal.

Oh, that's awesome about your driver's license, Jax! And really funny, because one of my closest friends (Stacey) is getting her driver's license on Monday too. I get mine in late October, actually, which I'm looking forward too. I'll be glad to be able to drive myself to school and not have to rely on other people for rides.

That sounds like an awesome job! And it sounds really interesting. Personally, I think you should definately take it, but of course I will also pray that God leads you in whatever direction is best.

(And "Other than that it's all normal"? Those are two huge things. Both are awesome! )

My day has been absolutely crazy (and really fun). Excuse my ranting.

I went to my school's back to school dance last night (similar to Pip's football, I sat outside and talked to my friends the whole time and didn't dance. I can't dance to save my life) which was fun. A group of us slept over at a friend's house and woke up at four o'clock in the morning (getting a total of one hour of sleep) and helped organize a rumage sale that our school was sponsering to raise money. So we worked there from five a.m. until two in the afternoon. (I managed the used books table, which I loved. )

Anyway, excuse my ranting. After only one hour of sleep, I really don't even know what I'm saying anymore. It was a LOT of fun though.

Wow, that is a ways off. But to be honest I'm sort of freaked out to drive alone anyway. It's just so busy where I live!

You'll have a great time!! Our homecoming is the first week of October or something like that... not really sure. I do get why you're nervous though. Are you just going with a group of friends? (Personally, I prefer it that way... )

nope, i have a hott date who confessed his love to me the other day and told me he's had this huge crush on me for like ever and we're gonna dance and kiss and fall in love and be together forever......HA! lol yea, i'm going with sum friends....it'll be fun, but i'm still nervous....going shopping for a dress 2day....if i get one, mayb i'll pm a pic to u, if u wanna c it....ack, i'm still rlly nervous!!!

there's nothing like being sleep deprived and hyper....it ttly sucks like 3 days l8r, cuz it like finally hits u, & ur like oh crap....i feel horrible....& then ur like really cranky & like bite everyone's head off.....but at the time, it's AMAZING!!! sleepovers when u get like 1 hour of sleep....ah, good times, good times....
